Big Mahjong fan and this is pretty good overall. Definitely needs some classical oriental music, any flavor would be good. Angle does need a little work, especially on some of the pyramid type layouts. Sound effects could be improved (kind of annoying). Also, I don't understand the level selection. If I select a level, I guess I always have to restart instead of it restarting for me? 1 or 2 additional tilesets would also be nice. Overall though, good graphics, nice background and nice gameplace. the shuffle seems to be pretty good also (at least what I've played so far).
Was something changed recently (revision uploaded maybe)? All of my progress is gone (haven't cleared anything in Flash or IE) and it won't save my progress anymore going forward. I didn't do anything on my computer except shut it down and start it up. Other games work fine and no progress was lost.
How can I comment on this? I've been waiting eagerly for this for a year, and to call it outstanding would be a gross understatement. So, I'll simply say that DrNero delivered!
I miss the simple games like these. Well done over all. Controls are a bit laggy as mentioned. Also, was it intentional to allow the bullets to carry over between levels? Seems to make it too easy.
Good grief, this one is ridiculous. Winning isn't the problem. I'm tired of beating it now. Different browsers, multiple wins, refreshes, etc. Can't get the card or the badges to update. I'm usually pretty patient with this stuff, but this is pretty retarded. Game is good, but the API problems really need to be worked out BEFORE a time-limited card is released :(
Just curious if others are experiencing a bug I submitted: projectile #4 blows up on me 90% of the time, even if I only pull back a hair, well within the yellow and far from the red border, and Stability says 100%.
Okay, thought everyone would enjoy a laugh at my expense... Like an idiot I didn't pay attention to the power ups and had the Nuke. Placed it on me to pull back and fire. You can guess what happened :)
Ummm... I can't believe I didn't notice this game before the badge? Extremely impressive and a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the game. Overall original idea. Good graphics. Smooth gameplay. My fifth 5/5 on Kongregate (out of MANY ratings). Well done!
Liked the idea! Gameplay seems a bit unbalanced though. For instance, increase in rank or snorp seems to give me no advantages at all. I think too much of it is based on luck (have no problem with a combination of luck/skill, but like I said, it just doesn't seem balanced enough). Good work though!
I think it's well done overall. Still haven't finished it, but I'm enjoying it. Only recommendation is the water-to-air speed change is a bit much. Yes, there should be a jump in speed, but I think it's a bit unbalanced and very difficult to judge at all. Still workable though.
Not bad for your first! Collision detection needs work. Playing field is also too small (or paddles are too large). Also needs a goal; something to work towards. A simple counter isn't very rewarding. Keep it up though!
Just didn't get this at all. Nice idea and graphics, but I can't do it. Too few seeds and the get by, what seems like the right amount kills my meter/bonus. Can't for the life of me find any kind of balance ?? Anyway, I figure it's just me, so I rated it higher.
Nice game! Only criticism is similar to what others expressed - I'm okay with fuel being consumed in the air IF you rack up the experience while in the air also. Forcing the player to hit the ground to register experience AND consuming fuel in the air just makes it annoying rather than challenging.
Okay, excellent game, but I won't ever finish it. I find it EXTREMELY annoying that Level 37 has to have PERFECT timing for the rays at the last leg, so you have to keep playing this level OVER and OVER again. Played the first 36 levels in a little over an hour. I've already spent the same amount of time solely on 37. Very frustrating and not worth retrying anymore.
