Creative, especially for the holidays. As mentioned, needs some additional parts. Also, needs some kind of goal, maybe some new levels with obstacles. Only thing I didn't like was the way the rockets worked. You also don't get much out of them unless you use them at the start of takeoff or a bounce. Nice overall.
Things heating up REAL quick now. Lev 66 requires 5 maxed ceiling guns and my maxed hand machine gun. I won't be able to stop them from reaching the first plate anymore by Lev 68!
My goal was to kill everything before it made it to the first plate (including bosses). At Lev 60, it takes 4 ceiling machine guns maxed out (for normal waves) plus your hand machine gun maxed out (for boss waves). Plenty of money to do this and I'm making more than $10K a wave now...
New, creative and actually challenging. Simple and effective graphics. Excellent job! Only criticism was already stated - I did not interpret the explanation correctly, but figured it out easily enough. I quick demo at the beginning would be ideal.
Even though I don't personally like dungeon crawling RPGs, a lot of effort was put into this and I feel it was definitely well put together (4/5). Too bad so many people around here can't comment with a level of intelligence beyond an 8 year old...
Block response is not precise enough to match the sway. I enjoy the challenge, but (1) when I can't possibly fit the block correctly with the sway simply because you only allow 1/2 increments, and (2) when there is a delay between key press and block response, then challenging becomes frustrating and the game loses its appeal... If you're going to add sway with precision, then you should allow precise control over the blocks also...
Excellent sequel! Unfortunately I'm horrible at it. I aced the first Amberial, but I can't even get through half of this one. Kudos to those of you that can...
Haha! Reckless hit 10000 and was 6000 ahead. On my final roll, I took chances and ended up with 6 free rolls, totally 5600, then Zilched. Everything considered, that would have been awesome!
It already is a board game. It's called Farkle and about a dozen other names (in addition to Farkle and Zilch). This is one of the best implementations of if that I've seen though!
Anyone have an idea why I can't save this games settings between sessions? Every time I come back, it's a blank/reset slate... No problems with this on any other game I've played at K, today or any other day...
For a first game this is outstanding! Creative and well done. I do agree it gets boring fast, but I disagree with most of the other comments. Why do people need an explanation of the power-ups? What's wrong with the bullets causing damage - that's the point. If you had a cannon sticking out and an enemy hit it, you'd do damage. The inc/dec diameter adds a nice touch. Find a way to keep people entertained longer and you're definitely on the right track!
Sequel is well done. Nice new twists and some mind benders, there. Still haven't figured out the logic behind 27 yet - I solved it easily, but still don't understand how!?!
Okay, I know, it's me being stupid, but I don't suppose you can humor my stupidity by moving the Bank button away from the Roll button? I have lost some major rolls because I get excited about 3000 points and accidentally hit Roll with 1 die left! AAAAAHHHH!!!!! Well, okay...
