dear god! why? a solid green square with two little blue squares embedded in it (apparently grass with two puddles), with no buttons, no movement, and nothing else, is using 100% of my CPU! i even restarted, just to make sure. so yes, this is beyond terrible. fix it!
Why is green I allready commented and I will fix it.
If you can't move you need to click out of the game because Unity focus mouse and keyboard on your game so you can't scroll. Just click on left or right side outsied the game window.
a) allow movement of pieces, instead of doing everything in your head
b) show the proper solution on the board instead of just in chess notation, those of us who are not professional players may not know how to read it
what other people said, + you really need to make the health bar transparent, or at least different from the background - for the first 10 seconds i thought i had a chunk of wall stuck on my head. centering it over the character would also make more sense.
"once race starts, do not release UP arrow" - this is annoying. seriously. just make acceleration automatic and ignore the UP arrow once the race starts, instead.
I don't know how to rate this... difficulty is insane, dying only takes 2 seconds or so but this is WAY too long for the frequency at which i do this (on some levels i only last for about a second before going back to my maker, so 2/3 of the time is spent listening to and looking at the Game Over screen... also the order in which these should be done is unclear, where to get items is unclear, etc, etc.
good controls, smooth, nice work. needs objectives, maybe different kinds of planes, different kinds of ammo, something - otherwise gets very repetitive and boring quickly. also, why exactly do planes i failed to hit crash into the ocean? O_o
err... so finished level 1, bought 2x faster breeding and 1x extra attack... and the AI is somehow breeding 4-5 times faster than i am! how exactly am i supposed to deal with this?
there are forums and such for questions like "what should i do?"
uploading the question as a game earns you a glorious 1/5. and even I know how to add music to flash, even though I haven't developed anything on it since Flash was in version 4 or so.
doing level 29 for the first time: "Whee, this is fun!". doing level 29 for the sixth time: "this is getting annoying". try # 18 or so, each one taking about 20 minutes (since i get to the very end and then my helicopter gets stuck, or the last coin bugs out, or the frigging last rocket launcher guy manages to one-shot one of my guys, or....)
suggestions: add currently selected unit's name, health, and weapon type to the HUD (so if looking at something away from them someone starts shooting at them, you can see this, and so i don't accidentally have the bazooka guy kill himself. again.)
checkpoints might make it a bit less frustrating (clearing out a level for 20 minutes only to have an enemy bazooka guy suddenly open fire halfway across the map and take out the last civilian is ultra-annoying). having unlockable-and-permanently-upgradeable units would also be much less frustrating than the current system - one rocket and my 30xp spy is gone - but instead of re-trying the level to get it right this time, i have to go and buy a new spy and train him/her - assuming i have enough cash and xp saved up.
either display the entire text at once, or allow the user to instantly display it by cicking. i don't want to sit there for 5 minutes waiting for it to type itself.
