ugh... make the car/ship/whatever able to turn into place. it keeps getting pushed into walls and getting stuck there due to the overly sensitive controls...
"first-person" mode is kinda pointless when the game is entirely 2D. consider at least adding proper wraparound to the game (i.e. since you and asteroids appear on opposite side when flying through wall, bullets should too, and you should be able to see wraparound in first-person mode). have the asteroids, etc explode when hit - ceasing to exist is visually unappealing. ship's turning speed is very slow, might benefit from some tweaking. adding actual 3d elements might make this a bit more interesting.
ugh. 1) add a giant textbox to the game itself that says "requires xbox controller", right above "press start". 2) camera controls are really bad - works about 50% of the time. 3) menu controls are awful.
add a time display (during flight), add currently selected weapons display, add achievements. remove delay between waves (i.e. enemies show up whether you managed to kill their predecessors or not) - will make this a bit less trivial.
the original game had a bug where, after you played for a while, loot would take a long time to show up after monsters die. you captured THAT perfectly!
if your game requires a certain domain to be unblocked, PLEASE LIST THIS IN THE COMMENTS. I so love having to enable random things in my NoScript to get games to work.
1) initial speed is WAY too low. 2) don't scale music to game speed, or at least not linearly (at the start, when speed is ~0.1, the music sounds beyond awful)
the game is gorgeous, and the story is fun, but the puzzles... ugh! i spent the last 10 minutes looking for a way to open the cargo door or to get the batteries out of that doll, or for something else I can do... why *don't* i want to unscrew that thing, again?
the game might benefit from more strategy than "move ship all the way left, keep pressing Space, if you miss an asteroid that's heading for you on the first shot move a bit to hit it".
