I love the aesthetics of this game. The sounds, the images. Amazing. The puzzles weren't too hard, but you fit the different elements within the style you were going for.
The blood-crazed flies kind of make sense to me. I can almost get my head around why the frog also wants to pick up coins. But I can't for the life of me figure out how this frog has a better dental plan than some people.
Why would you try to cure this kid? He defies the laws of thermodynamics. Give him a battery to enlarge and you've massively multiplied the amount of energy that battery can provide. Give him a diamond to enlarge and you're filthy rich. And I'm sure the military would just love a kid who can destroy an enemy fortress by enlarging and lifting a pebble.
You should reduce the cost of the larger potions or increase the amount they heal. Currently the cheapest, weakest potion heals the most per gold spent and so there is no reason to ever buy the others.
My guess is that since the game is 40xEscape and it has 40 levels, that's why total was 040. Of course my first instinct was to enter the sum of the numbers 1 through 29.
This game unfortunately commits a very common and mildly annoying error: the "r" key as a shortcut for "restart" is disabled as soon as a level is won or lost, forcing you to click on the restart button in order to try again. Made more annoying by the fact that the button to restart moves depending on whether you won or lost. Please fix this annoyance.
Okay, all 6 orbs: 1. Leave the starting screen and return. 2. When you "wake up" re-enter your bedroom. 3. After getting shot keep heading left. 4. After hopping down the cliff walk under it. 5. When you get the shovel and are about to dig the holes say "no" and it will ask you if you want to dig for treasure. Do so. 6. Return the shovel to the guy. Credit to Gigalamesh for some of these.
It's pretty short. There's no acknowledgement that you've finished; not so much as a "Congratulation A Winner Is You". Panning the camera is really slow, and it follows the character slowly after falling. The game is overall quite easy as well. None of this makes it a bad game, just not stellar like some of the other platformers we see. 4/5
Level 13 was the first one that actually made me think. In case anyone needs a hint: bridges both block movement and create a platform; maybe you can combine the two functions.
If you're having trouble, try retreating to a safe zone (with the doors). Zombies will be instantly stopped, and will often cluster at the door. If they all cluster, you can just stomp them and run past. If they don't, you can stomp and then shoot your ranged weapon through the nearby zombies to the distant ones, slowly whittling down your opposition and letting you escape.
Just so people are aware, it is possible to get 100% on the 2-slice mode. I just managed to do it (but some levels took a long time). Almost certainly not possible with the 1-slice mode, but still. Great game, 5/5.
it's easy! bottlecups is garbage, if you remove them, you make the world cleaner and for that you get bonus time ;)
