This is similar to most TCG's, in that it doesn't work for people with no sense of strategy.
The attack rolls make the game distinctly too random - I like the idea of rolling multiples and averaging, or more dice for more attack/defense.
Also, I think the cards are pretty much balanced - If you ask me, Gift is one of the stronger cards in the game - I don't see why anyone wouldn't run 3 in every deck. Similarly, Beckon is an extra 3 copies of the strongest creature in your deck, and Black Hole is an excellent card for punishing over-commitment.
Overall very well-rounded, reducing the randomness in the combat would make it even better.
The strategy is finding something that will grow at decently past 5 layers, after that it's just luck (because there is no way you are going to be able to work out anything past that in your head). It's an interesting exercise though.
Oh, you can also just dodge Seekers and wait for them to go away - a necessity on level 20+ when you have to last a couple of "waves" before seeing another set of Blades.
Love it.
I got the Hard badge on Level 6 - before completing the challenge ;)
What I really hate is people rating a game low just because they are no good at it.
I like it. Took a few attempts but I finally got the badge. Just after that, I realised it would have been so much simpler if I got my brother to do one screen and myself do the other >_> If you are really desperate for the badge, then I guess you could give that a go.
Legendary.
I agree that it needs an option to just listen to the music, or perhaps a "practice mode" where you have unlimited lives but can't get the achievement, just to help us . . . less rhythmically talented to practice for the badges.
I got the Survivalist badge, I think I'll go for Prodigy once I have a good few hours to really get on-rhythm ;)
In survival mode, yes, you start out with all that stuff. The catch is, you don't get any more at all - hence the name "Survival".
Defense mode is a more typical defense game.
Wow. Some people are realy idiots here.
I like it. I'm currently working on porting some of my old text adventures into it - I'll post the level codes once I'm done.
That is not true.
If that was true, why the hell is there an ad for fizzy on this version but not on any other of the 100-odd websites that have this game on? And why does every other version of the game have a "Play more games: Agame.com" link, while this version replaces it with a "Play more games" that is completely unlike the other menu items?
This game is stolen.
