Nasty little issue, cost to purchase 39 gems is displayed as 39 Kreds, but the game then charges 60 kreds. I assume it's just a mistake with a label somewhere, but it smacks of dishonesty. I'm still going to buy gems but... please fix this.
Can people please stop complaining about free games that give you an OPTION pay for a little in-game bonus. It's not unreasonable. If you think game developers should not have a chance to get paid for their work, please... go play outside or something...
several hours of fun, 8 campaigns, level 9, 120 cards, quite easily, without paying anything, in the first day. It irritates me that people whine about decent free games when they have the OPTION to pay for more content. I did switch from chrome to firefox to play but still 5/5 to oppose all those blasted haters.
Thoughts:
Lobby/Battle system appears a bit bland: suggest traveling the realm and unlocking new areas, shops/ taverns in a city themes etc etc.
Sometimes can seem a bit slow, option to skip/speed up move animations would be appreciated.
Item costs just 'feel' expensive. Maybe divide all prices and earnings by 10. works the same but feels cheaper.
Seems to take too long to deal damage and matches drag on. double the damage and heal rate maybe.
Not enough feeling of return on investment for play time, suggest adding player stats with minor effects upon units.
Just suggestions, that's it so far. Really like the game.
Hi Jarty -- glad you like the game and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! I will pass this along to the team and we will review your points. Thanks again. :) ~thia~
As a former games tester currently studying animation, I gotta say, this game impresses me. 2 tiny issues: 1# the scarred, fanged vampire portrait is prominent while the girl he is talking to doesn't seem to notice his looks. 2# the main characters outline as he recoils and draws his gun back and to the side is slightly confusing when seen at normal speed. It's kinda like he loses his arm. Just my 2 cents, tiny little issues that don't really have much impact, otherwise, loving the game, hope to see more from this developer.
A lot of the complaints seem to stem from the 6 hours between mission credits. I'd suggest something like letting the player gain mission credits every 6 minutes but having missions require 60 credits. Actual change = 0. perceived change = much greater.
Also it would be good to have a minigame or two for when players run out of credits and can't do missions.
it takes a few thousand left/right key presses to free the trapped penguin in the pool. just so you all know. I have carpal tunnel issues... this may have been a bad idea. I am silly.
still... probably worth it for the awesome helmet.
finished the game, beat all missions, unlocked all units, upgraded all units to max, still missing the last achievement. what do we need to do? is it a bug? is it possible? iphone version only? what?!?!?
This is one of the most brilliant free games I have ever seen. There is nothing that requires cash to obtain. and please stop down-rating because of slow energy gain, there are many ways around it. i.e. free cards, spell cost reduction via slotted jewelry, energy drain or farm characters to buy an amulet of restoration. fixes and expansions would be nice but still 5/5 as is.
If you are buying cards and they don't show, or there are no items in the shop, you might have disconnected from the server. The problem is that the game doesn't recognize this and tell you. so you keep playing without realizing that your progress hasn't been saved.
Nice work. The responsive controls, useful upgrades and simple yet challenging gameplay made this very fun. Love to see another with a bit more story and few more levels.
The timestop ability helps with the later levels in hard and epic. Rush with quick units and heroes and timestop when you need it/have the mana. Makes things easier.
thanks for helping, Jarty! ~thia~
