In the middle of a mission, I paused, and entered the 8-screen help menu. I read all 8 screens, then tried to click the "close" button. Clicking that is only making the button blink rapidly. The help screen is not going away.
I challenge anyone to use the cluster of 3 superbombs to completely clear the screen of all building parts and royals with ONE HIT, on the Treehouse level in the Black Shores map.
The mechanics of ranking and so on need to be explained better. Also, when I join a game, what am I joining exactly? Ranked? Unranked? If the personae are taken straight from Kongregate, why can't I look up the player? The internal mechanics are explained beautifully, but I'm in the dark about multiplayer.
Cool concept, but far too easy, like its predecessor. If this game is ever to be challenging, the AI has to be boosted by about a factor of 10. But there's a quite good space strategy game made from this concept, which I can't think of the name of right now.
I don't understand how you would be able to play this game if it were sped up. It's already really fast-paced as it is. I was racing around frantically to minimize the death rate.
The video someone posted works. The general principles: Altitude gives you hang time; speed gives you distance. Better gliders give you higher sustainable speed (higher "red zone"), which is crucial. Almost every flight should earn you 2 achievements -- either height/time, or speed/distance. Usually height/time is easier with poor equipment, so jump ahead to later stages to pick those up, then come back to mop up the speed/distance run in the earlier stage after buying upgrades. Again, to get distance, sustain as high a speed as you can, without gaining lots of altitude. But not so fast that your speed springs back toward zero when your rockets quit.
For those having trouble with level 23, as I did, it's important to notice that the white paint bucket is shorter than the black one. But the white bucket behaves differently depending on how advanced in the level you are; it's not totally consistent.
BUG: If you get a victory badge for winning 5 levels on sudden death, you get the XP award for the badge, but you don't get the 3X XP bonus. Also, in rare cases, combining an inventory gem with a tower gem directly results in loss of the inventory gem and a mana deduction, but the tower gem stays as before.
