Wow, there's a lot of Zelda "influence" here - the enemies are damn near ripped from Zelda - the Octoroks and Ropes (Snakes) are straight sprite rips/edits. But onto the game - the controls are pretty nice, the inventory is pretty nice (again, VERY reminiscent of Zelda), and the quests are a nifty feature, in the sense that they're organized in one easy-to-read list. I give it a 4/5 for production value and such, but the last star is reserved for Link's Awakening and Link to the Past, of which this game so resembles.
Pretty solid. I got Gold on the first 12 levels pretty effortlessly, took me about 10 minutes total to beat it and get gold on everything, fun little game, and the controls were really on par. Very reminiscent of Super Meat Boy, which is a good thing!
Jesus christ, Berzerk Ball in FRICTION LAND. How does he go from 600+ speed to 300 on one bounce?! It feels like the upgrades don't even change it that much - I have no idea how to even go about getting to later areas without grinding for hours. Still, I love these god damn games. 4/5.
Loving this game, I actually like the fact that the arrows reset when they reach 0, it makes you stay on your toes and keep scanning your territories to make sure they're secured, and to keep the flow of power moving, very nicely done!
Hot damn, when I first saw this I was like "Well it's a prototype, I'll check it out and move on" Looked at the clock, played for about 15 minutes straight, got to level 7, 17,000 points, and was pretty surprised at how simple and fun it is. I'm a tetris fanatic, and I always like seeing new takes on the old classic. I think with improved visuals and improved move recognition algorithms, this could be very well polished and ready for sale on mobile markets, great job here! Love the concept, and I think with a finalized execution, this game would succeed - it's one of those "Why didn't I think of that?!" type games (as I'm a programmer and mobile developer myself).
Wow, thanks, so good to hear! Really appreciate this, and those improvement ideas were our thoughts exactly almost a year ago :) - so we have polished the visuals, we have improved the move recognition algorithms, and it's just days from release on iPhone and iPad.
You can check on the improved visuals in the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkLRuKFC7gY but you will have to check the move recognition improvements yourself. :)
Thanks again, for making my (and the whole Dawn of Play team's) day! :)
Another nice installment in the bloons series, yet I'm still not a fan of the "premium" content inclusion, it's whatever, because it's still entirely playable, beatable, and enjoyable, without it.
Always a great time with Nerdook. My friend - you need to do some hardcore development with the XNA, and I guarantee you a nice side income and many many happy fans if you can whip some of this into a bundle or make some new IP's for Xbox Live arcade. 5/5
What a great little time killer! Adorable story, nice graphics, and I have to agree with theironfist - I was verbally assaulting the NPC's pretty badly haha.
9:53 First try, not a bad game at all! It makes you think, but there isn't too much pixel hunting, although it took me a bit to figure out that I could look down and up as well, but once I figured that out I rocked the remainder. Very good "Escape" game, would love to play more!
Sweet merciful Christ... this game is fantastic. For a while, the top down shooter genre was plagued by soulless carbon copies. This game has a BEAUTIFULLY sculpted world that creates a sense of urgency, dread, and fear all at once. The Terminal system as well as the weapon upgrades along with the fun combat system makes a very enjoyable gameplay experience. I would love to see something like this developed full force for PC, perhaps through Steam, because I'd happily pay 10 dollars for a full-length version of this.
As akways, great games TeraLumina - I've loved all the previous escape games, and this one as well, because as with all of your other games, there's NO pixel hunting, all of the puzzles can be solved by something in the room, and the challenge is there without being hair-rippingly difficult, and I love winning with all 30 diamonds :P 5/5, love it@
