Ugh, another Stencyl Tutorial game with 1 swapped graphic. Not only did he not write a single line of code, but he didn't even use the built-in Drag-and-Drop in Stencyl. 1/5 - it's not a game, it's a demo, and a poorly modified one at that.
WOW! I love the sound effects, it feels very futuristic, and almost claustrophobic, it definitely creates a sense of urgency, and the feeling of escape took over me, and I found myself getting into the top 4000 or so purely because I was so in the zone and my instincts took over. Beautiful, simple game. I can really say it needs nothing more than the ability to adjust sensitivity, and the option to mute for those who need it, I personally love the sound! 5/5!
This should really be an impossible badge lol, some of those puzzles are really testing (which is good!) and take a decent amount of time (like 10-15 minutes!).
Stolen, and this wasn't made in collaboration with neither Newgrounds OR Armorgames, he simply put their preloaders in... 1/5, Flagged. {VR Defender Y3K != DotDefense}...
The only problem is that 1.) This wasn't created by the original developer, and 2.) I'm pretty sure uploading someone else's game modified to create an unfair advantage (whether it's a single player game or not) is agains the terms of service. Flagged.
Jesus christ, I rocked the easy levels, and stomped through the normal ones with a few tough levels, but this is no f**king joke! Serious difficulty here, but not impossible lol. Impossible Badge: Beat the first 5 levels.
The worst part is, despite the 2 blatant ripoffs, the game isn't terrible, and it actually plays pretty well. 3/5 for execution, but the other 2 stars belong to Rovio and Nintendo.
I thought it was awesome to have all of the numbers displayed in Hex, but then again I'm a web designer so that kind of stuff is easy for me, some of the other players may have a bit of trouble with that haha, but while the graphics were devilishly simple, the gameplay was addictive! A great little time killer, I played non-stop until my little cube was white. 4/5, Great concept, pretty well executed, my only suggestion would be that a bit more pleasing visuals would be great.
The game is pretty good so far, although 1 skill point per level is a bit low, I'd say 3 would be nice, and the graphics could use a bit of work, but it's a great start so far, definitely had a lot of fun with it - although I encountered a bug: When you're using the pistols, it seems that if you don't press "R" to reload, it'll show you have a full clip, but it'll only let you shoot one bullet then reload again, and it keeps happening until you press R. 3/5 for a good start, definitely want to see the finished product!
After finally killing that bastard ship Tyberius, as it was dying and I was collecting my XP, it spawned a little plane and it killed me as I was collecting my XP! :O
I got wedged between one of the fences and one of the buildings during unlimited mode and I couldn't defend an entire side of my house :/ Still 5/5, but the collision needs to slightly be tweaked for little situations like that. Fantastic game otherwise, lots of upgrades, powerups, very fast paced action - it's almost perfect! Favorited!
