How should I pass the first screen ?
what's the meaning of the arrow on the panel ?
I tried to walk around the dimension doors, no effect.
I tried to take the dimensions doors in any order, including the one shown on the panel, no effect.
I don't call that difficult, I call that nonsense.
I found Newt's corpse ! Lucky an Alien didn't show up... And where the hell is Ripley ?
Found 120$ in her teddy bear, also... she won't need it anymore, will she ?
I still can't figure which "obvious place" contains the reciepe for the weakening potion.
It seems "obvious" hasn't the same meaning for everyone.
Some random clicking, too.
Maybe because I'm lame at point & click games, but I would never find the trapdoor, the small key and the chain by myself.
terrible ninja AI.
They just don't seem wanting to protect the girl.
Bored of getting killed while my bodyguards run away from the real threats.
1/5
In the first game, I remember I could tell the nijas if they would choose enemies closer than the girl rather than closer than themselves.
Finally managed to pass medium level.
Now, level 3, difficulty : hard. 1 try, victory.
Looking at his game's tags, I read :
Card : OK, it's a card game.
Turn Based : right, it's turn based.
Defense : it's no DEFENSE game, it's a CARD game.
Strategy : there's no strategy in this game, it's PURE LUCK !!!
Tried only 1 player (only this interests me)
level 1, difficulty : easy. 1 try, 1 win
level 2, difficulty : medium. 3 tries, 3 losses.
Ever heard about difficulty balancing ?
The first back2back was great, this one is... er... disappointing. Just because I don't want to use crude words.
Great graphics, good music, but no gameplay and awful balancing.
Plain impossible to find out without the walkthrough.
I just made two possible stories (as the walktrough confirmed me) but whane you do one, you have to do another.
And whane You do another, you must go on finding other things to go on, and finally coming back to start with transformed pics with which make the story the game creator wants us to make... completely silly.
It's a shame because I'm fond of comics and the idea (as seen in the 3 previous puzzles) was good.
Wasn't this game so impossible to archieve without the walkthrough, I would rate it 5/5... but I give it 1/5 instead.
It seems like our game has gotten the better of you! Haha! But you are in good company. I doubt anyone has completed it without any help. Our play tester almost made it but he still needed a little hint on the way. Thanks to your and other's feedback, we may come to the conclusion that this comic needs to be placed as the very last level of the game (i.e. when all the comics are finished). What I am already certain of, is that we WILL make a comic that will be placed between The Egocentric and The Self-Destructive and that comic will hopefully serve as a bridge so that the current giant leap in difficulty is overcome.
Needs more balancing between WP and gold.
Not making any trade and only fighting, capturing and sinking ships, I've enough gold to buy and fully upgrade highest ships, but still don't have enough WP to conduct needed research to get access to these.
Also boring when you then aren't able to rebuilt back your ship, since invisible ships attack you again and again, making you lose this hard-earned gold.
It takes all the fun away.
I'd love to like this game (pirates is a good alternative to spaceships and dragons) but I just can't manage it.
Having a power level for towns would be a great addition, too.
;)
