Not bad as the basics of a game, but needs a lot of work to make it interesting. You know, waves, upgrades, hot-key powers, that sort of stuff. Just having the thieves pick up gold and try to take it back off-screen rather than cause instant game over would be a step forward.
Excellent sequel; tutorial could do with clarifying some basic points. I wasn't making much money until I spotted I was being charged for the stock I had. Still trying to work out how to avoid losing karma everyday... if it's price, could do with setting a % discount to the "optimal" rather than adjusting it every day. 4/5 as is, looking to be 5/5 once fully debugged and tweaked.

Not very interesting or engaging. The garbled English doesn't help... I have no idea whatsoever what the first part of the Computer Log Entry "Day26 At the armoury divorced unusual controversy. Breathing becomes more difficult" is supposed to mean. Any suggestions? Anyone able to spot which language that was translated from?
I got to the bit where the woman with agoraphobia wanted to "play" with the buff guys, then I spotted that this is "comedy misogyny" with a side-order of "aren't mental women stupid?" with extra "they're gagging for it, really" and baled out. 1/5 - game flagged. :(
Got the lot, but needed the 'guide' to find the last heart on 'normal' setting (it was on the hem of the middle guy's tunic). Can't imagine playing these on 'hard'!
Thanks for responding. The woman says "I was knocked out. I'm not sure what happened while I was out, but I am certain that I was violated." To violate someone is to sexually assault/rape them... and other parts of the story make it clear that that is what is meant.
Oh, I see. Yeah, she said that she was "certain", but you could be certain about something and still be wrong. I don't want to give too much away (sort of too late), but what happened exactly will be addressed in the sequel. I'll take a look at the star on the map.
Having a story is a good way to make this sort of game more engaging, but the English text used here is really too garbled... and there isn't really any decision-making, problem-solving or detective-work.
And, BTW, both the map location and instructions for the "smash the camera" task are wrong. You've marked the lab, but want the player to go to a different room and smash the "screens" ... with that and the dodgy story that doesn't make sense ending without anything having been resolved/explained, I now think 2/5 is generous.
Story has references to sexual assault/rape and forced prostitution that seem gratuitous (though non-explicit). The plot idea seems based on the 'Mars One Project' to televise a one-way Mars colonisation mission; but here they've somehow sent a massive complex that's a pain to navigate around. Am I supposed to find it funny that the organisation on Earth is called 'ASS'?

ASS is actually a hint, but it won't be explained in this chapter. The whole idea is that people resort to prostitution when there is an economic crisis and the game does not glamorize it in any way whatsoever. There is no rape reference. She was assaulted in the complex, but it didn't say how.
