Just because I like to hear myself talk, and maybe the author actually reads these comments, but why I like this game over many others is the reason I like good old school games. This game isn't about jamming virtual quarters and continues, and it's not a game of attrition. It's a thinking man's game: do I grab that color pixel and risk getting hit or do I shoot it and save some health? Do I continue to power through or start from scratch to achieve some godly score? Anyway, I'm just impressed, and this game is a breath of fresh air like some of the others I give higher scores to.
My first 4 of 5 in awhile. I was frustrated at first, but took a breath and realized that this game wasn't designed to be easy, but it's not impossible either. Just takes some practice. Nice work, nice execution.
I tried, I tried, I really tried to like this game, but I just can't. This game feels like something that, while the idea is a good one, just wasn't playtested or executed very well. I've lowered my score to this game to a 1/5.
