I love zombie games. I love ALL zombie games, so I'm a sucker for stuff like this. But please, the absolute randomness of this game actually detracts from it. I feel it is even more random than the first game.
A good game, and for all the glitz and WONDERFUL user interface (every game on kong should learn to make such a friendly user interface as this... YAY shortcut keys!) I still can't give this game as high of a score as I want to. I can't quite put my finger on what's missing... oh well. When I figure what's missing for me it out, I'll post it.
Suggestion for Kongregate and other developers who want to post games to this site: create a new category called "Demo." "Free game" is not the same thing as a "Demo game."
One good credit for the developer: the game really is synchronize to the music, just as the game is billed. This impresses me, as I've played too many games on kongregate that are only loosely sync'd to the music, including those Guitar games.
Good, but the frustration level of this game is extremely high, at least for me. It does get easier with practice, although would be nice to have the length of the song listed in the description.
I would bet money that those who don't like this game have never heard of an Atari 2600, played old Pitfall games, or have heard a game called Nethack. That doesn't mean you should like this game, but to dismiss this game for x, y or z reason without exploring it is a shame. Top notch game.
Also, for those having problems (although there doesn't seem to be many of yous) getting the hard badge, the game does have a bit of randomness in it. If you have bad game, play again. There's a good chance you'll get a load of PURPLE POWERS!!!! YAR!!!!
The perfect, relaxing break that I need from those guitar games. Didn't swear once when playing this. This game would get a perfect and a favorite from me if it contained multiple songs and levels, while achieving the same level of relaxation.
I hate, loathe, and despise this game. I wish this game was never made. It makes me scream, cuss out my computer, and I can't tell you how many times I've almost broken the screen of my laptop by punching it while playing this game. Good job. 4/5.
