This is a game which deserves a sequel. It is one of my all time favorites, with depth and fun combined with simple gameplay. Love it, glad this badge gave me the excuse to replay!
I was thinking "Cool! invisible level!" Only when I reached the bottom-right corner through an invisible wall-jumping maze did i realize it was a glitch.
Most of the game worked okay, but due to button combo issues, i can't turn left while boosting. It makes the later races hard (and I try to stick to the races- the other events are so-so)
I think there should be town upgrades which make the villagers better, either gathering more material and helping build faster or recovering action points more quickly.
I'm loving this game, but I think it would be improved by selling, as the others said, as well as listing which benefits you get from upgrading buildings like the production ones and the shops.
I also think that while in the village the heroes' hunger should improve, and it should be possible to give bread/ heal between battles.
So I put my comp to sleep in the middle of a game. When I came back, my towers were the same, but their exp and my rank had reset so i couldn't upgrade for many rounds more. Any way to save?
I think it would be beneficial to have different buttons for throwing bombs and slashing. Sometimes i'm just out of sword range and i waste a bomb, other times the reverse.
The goal is unclear; once you've gotten information, where do you go/ what do you do?
I agree with the controls being difficult, as sometimes you'll over/ underjump with seemingly no change in how long the jump button and arrows are pressed. However, I think there's a lot of potential here. Keep it up!
Thanks for the comment. This is basically a concept level. There was supposed to be 15 levels total under (3 levels by theme). I know the multipath is kind of confusing and I've tried to put directions arrows to correct that. The jump mechanic was one of the hardest problem to overcome and I'm still trying to overcome that problem. I hope I'll be able to complete this game someday.
Great game, I'm having a blast. I would like a scene selection though, and perhaps more time on the sequences. My computer can be a bit slow, and the moment I spend as the arrows appear consistently ends in failure.
Even with that, 5/5 easily.
