Best game on Kong. 5/5,
I like how the narrative makes a commentary on the workers' conditions in Chinese strip mines, while remaining light and retaining the player's interest. In 50 years, critics will look back and hail this as being ahead of its time.
Couple more things: I shouldn't be able to double jump by holding the jump key, that's kind of annoying. Also, the hit boxes are too big sometimes, it seems.
Hmm, bugginess. I finished the first level on my first life, and it didn't keep the score I'd accumulated. No idea why. I did have it left paused for some time on the level complete screen. Possible cause?
Okay, so you can cancel a tower by hitting the sell button. Why isn't there a more obvious function? Forcing people to view separate tutorials is a bit of a throw-back in terms of game design.
The best part is using the red Hello Kitty brush, it's like you're ripping off Hello Kitty's head and painting your nails with her blood-dripping spinal cord. 5/5
