The bonuses are awful. You often have to destroy X amount of something when there aren't even that many of them. Such as destroy 15 cars on a road where there are never 15 cars at once. And naturally if a truck comes along it doesn't count.
You know what I love in a racing game? Having every possible upgrade available and placing last, again and again and again because of RNG. It seems like if you use 'catch breath' even once you can not place first. Why is this in the game at all?
I only had to go to walkthroughs for a few points, and I feel at least some of the problem was a lack of tutorial. Like how bombs still count down to explosion if they fall - that was never stated in-game. Some basic form of in-game hint system would make this game great.
I was having a pretty good time up to the point where I have to run 4 bombs and and nothing else to unlock an exit and there is absolutely no way to progress in the game until I get through that miserable level.
This game's controls are really stupid. Like, why not give the option to rebind keys? No we need windshield wiper to be its own button instead of automatic (and it barely clears faster than not using it, so why does it exist?)
I run the firefox "Noscript" addon, because I'm sick of adds/tracking/etc. Time never advances in game. I never get free pinatas, but my 2X money buff doesn't wear off. I can't load the ads, but I don't need to because I'm on free permanent X2 boost. Highly recommend noscript here.
The timer is frozen for me. On one hand I can't earn free pinatas every 3 hours. On the other hand I've been 20 minutes into a 2 minute double money boost.
Final boss fight, halfway down its health (don't know if it has multiple phases) kongregate boots me to "Don't shit your Pants". Thanks Kong. I needed that.
