If you want to grind for high score, take Pixel and max out everything defensive. Hold your money back and do not buy anything that increases damage. This ensures the enemy lives long enough for you to hyper mega ultimate point combo.
If you're at the trapped ending, walk near the light but don't touch it. Wait it out. Note also that you will have two spikes and only need 1 to climb up. Explore the physics of this.
I'm so glad I bought all those insect upgrades that gave me such useless powers and reduced my health to the point that everything kills me. Perhaps Dr. Evil doesn't understand what "Upgrade" means.
I had two missions up that I couldn't do. Muted game, did something else in another tab. Launched in survival then ignored for a few minutes. Wash rinse repeat, 20 minutes later I have those missions done and some spare cash. The later upgrades make this essentially an idle game. I mean... 500K really?
"Squash a cruiser while riding a rocket" is, as achievements go, like GTA saying "Hit a shark while driving a truck". Not impossible, but this is a clear misuse of a rocket.
@wqut there is auto-fire, its in the bottom right.
@Zacoff go to the menu, right side, fight the bosses there. I mean, unless you've already done that and just feel 4 isn't enough, which I can to some degree sympathize.
If you intuitively assumed that bosses appear in the normal play mode you hit an impassable wall somewhere between 5K and 9K points. It is not obvious enough that you start boss fights from the menu
On the whole liked it, but most of the puzzles were easy because there was a small number of total moves possible and you could brute force through them. You didn't necessarily have to understand what you were doing. Stages with more 'wrong answers' to explore would to a lot to increase difficulty and overall satisfaction.
This game does not work on firefox. Installed unity plugin several times, disabled all my ad-blocking or script-blocking, still does nothing. Game literally unplayable.
*looks at high scores* lordtoothpaste 1821962 HOW? If each game is say 1 minute that's over 3 years. Even if you have the game perfected it would still take like 10 seconds at least per game and the game hasn't been out long enough for that if you had a bot playing. NERF NOW!
Load time is unbearably long for a game as simple as this, and double-jump fails so often it feels like it has to be intentional. Stage design irritating at best. Enemies serve no purpose; not a challenge to defeat but merely occupying space. I would urge the devs play Super Metroid to completion before declaring this a metroidvania.
My Precious is an obnoxious achievement, particularly because you can kill enemies off screen without knowing. I don't like it when games give you an achievement list with that one item that is far harder than the game itself just to foil completionists.
Lol, sorry.
