On the first stage, can't get one of the stars. Retried 10 times, jump can't be made. Maybe if I had like, a thousand more coins I could get it and thus get to the second stage. Instead I have to grind the first stage over and over and over and over and over before I can even think about maybe moving on to the second stage. What is this a MMO? You can do with a bit less repetitive grind. You have multiple stages why not use them?
I find myself often making saltwater oceans with more water than salt-water (if barely), spreading plant to the clear water pockets within, and burning the plants. I wonder what this says about me as a person.
For the completionist, you cap out upgrades less than half way through and there's nothing to do with the money after that. There should be some vanity upgrades (hats, etc) to spend that money into. Or have everything that functionally upgrades go to one higher level but that last level is absurdly more expensive and non-completionists will just ignore it.
The greatest thing about this game is that its a puzzle game but if you replay the stages you will have absolutely no recollection of what you did to beat it the first time and this means replay value.
I got stuck on level 47, was all "I might youtube this later or just give up." Gave up. Came back, and had stage 48 unlocked. Played it, won the game. Still have no idea how to do 47 though. 11/5.
I would like if the rate for stealing skins in some way took into account the maximum level you have reached. Such as when I'm clearing the upper 40's and there is one lonely batman who refuses to surrender his cape and cowl. Kudos to that raccoon for being 'in character' but I'm trying to complete a catalog here.
All of the other games had a point near the end that spammed random baddies throughout the whole game at you. The addition of some random costumed raccoons at the final boss fight wouldn't make things significantly harder and it'd help out folks with their collections a tiny bit.
You should at least go the first 5 to 10 minutes before badgering people to buy hints and crystals. I realize game designers need to eat and all that but this feels like the kind of game you put on a smartphone and hand to a kid and they'll have a blast but wring up a $50 charge.
What in unmerciful hell is wrong with whoever designed stage 37? Have they heard of 'difficulty curve'? Curve, as in a line that goes slowly from low to high without any massive jumps.
There was a stage I was right about to post something to the effect of "what's wrong with you for making this" but then I beat it and it was the last level so I guess that worked out.
1616 dollars for an Atari ET game? Look I'll accept that I'm digging for dinosaur bones on the moon but it is entirely unbelievable that anyone would spend money for what is almost certainly the worst video game ever made. Yes I'm including Duke Nukem Forever. There's landfills of unsold ET cartridges.
I've sunk too much time to idle games, Anti-Idle The Game most notoriously, so I know my addictions and generally how to stop myself before it gets too that point. But I'm almost to the moon and I want to get a dinosaur on the moon. Because reasons. This won't end well for me. 5/5.
