I know this is supposed to be a side-project for the New Star Soccer 5 game, but I have to say I enjoy this one a lot more. Of course, that's mostly since this one I can play for as many matches as I want, but the entire gameplay is much more user friendly and to me a lot more fun.
Main problem I have is that the AI does not move at all once the balls kicked. Or if they do, they move very very little a distance. This causes a lot of shots to miss and then causes you to rely on you being in a perfect position every time rather than focusing on a team game.
A puzzle game that actually uses the amount of time it takes for the ball to solve the puzzle instead of including setting up as well? You sir just made the puzzle game scoring system I've been wanting for years.
If by final fantasy you mean standard turn-based rpg, then yes it is related, though very loosely. The concept is pretty unique, but the storyline is cliche after cliche and gets typical and boring after a few battles. Gameplay relies on luck more than skill to win. For a grid of that size, it probably would be better just to make it larger. Selection of enemies with the mouse seems to be off as well as I've clicked an enemy several times for it to do nothing for most of those clicks. Overall a decent game that falls short. 2/5.
Game works fine, it's just no way is playing anymore sadly. It's an original idea, as I said before. I really would've loved to see this go somewhere, but it doesn't look like that's happening.
