Great gameplay, but lacks the necessary polish for a great game. Some kinds of powerups, wall separators, varied goals/achievements. Also make that counter a lot bigger and easier to read. Maybe a light red and have it as the background for the whole screen?
Limited lives = bad. Giving that game over encouraged me to stop playing rather than to try again. Also death on respawn due to apparent glitch = bad. The way the platforms are moving makes it look like the coins are dooing all the motion, which might create an illusion safety. Why not have them in async? Just put adjacent platforms in counterpoint and you'll create some difficulty and take away some confusion.
Not a bad concept; nicely drawn, too. It's just missing something. I clicked on an answer, it told me I was wrong, then the screen greyed out a bit. Yay game?
Good to see the shootorials still inspire new devs. Movement feels a bit chunky and the game is just tooo easy. Play Frantic to get an idea of what shmup gamers want.
ne3eds mroe interactivity. Also the background color buttons are way too small. make them wide enough so that there is just a small line of space between each.
