This game is not hard - the only hard part is the brown plank where you automatically die unless you have the aura. The problem with this game is the economy. It takes forever to get crystals and rubies, and you get a huge amount of gold you can't use. Add in all the strange upgrades that don't do anything...
Also, it should be noted that you can only boost your score by 4000 by shooting the central bubble. Everything else is up to you. I got to 17k before the tracking bullets got too fast, but the table isn't showing it T_T
Really interesting endgame. You move just a bit faster than your bullets, so you just strafe around the edges of the screen (to keep your view wide) with a wave of death following you, running from the enemies' tracking bullets, which get faster over time. Very frenetic.
In one run, I didn't let the kid in, and the next day it said "You sleep on one of your couches tonight. set: 9 to it +1" Probably a bug that displayed your health statistic in game.
Building on what lord ingo said - it looks like purchasing more units does actually increase the generation rate of other units. So the underlying mechanic is working as designed, but the "cost per 1 money generation" column is being mis-calculated.
The difficulty spike at the second and third bosses is insane. Most enemies shoot once every four or five seconds, then the bosses just instantly annihilate you with a million lasers.
Apart from what everyone else is saying about balance, I experienced a bug on level 17 where my money just started counting up really fast for no reason. It got to about 50k before the level ended. A lot of lag in the last few levels, too.
8 workers, lvl 5 training, 3 sponsors, 2 ads. After this point, the bank becomes the most efficient investment in the game, and it will always be that way. You need to test your math.
Hey, Thank's for playing I hope you at least had fun. Aside from that I always thought I was on par with my arithmetic skills. So, I'll show you the reasoning behind the bank. First off, if I were to give you under one percent per second, the rounding system in AS3 (The language this is made with) would give you no interest what so ever, until you surpased $1,000 in your account. And, the money you did receive would make the bank pointless. Also I was hoping the bank would become a big part of the game, otherwise you'd be sitting there clicked to your disgruntle. But, aside from all that thank you a lot for playing, sorry if you had a bad experience I plan on making more, and highly improved games in the future. -ElginTLJB
After you win the first race there's nothing new for the rest of the game. Not doing this nine times, especially since the running game is bugged (racers fall through the floor randomly).
So I bought a house when I was 14, then worked as an apprentice until I was 31, so I could afford to furnish it and get married. At that point I was really confused about what to do, so I slept in the inn (instead of my own home?) for a year. Then I just hung out with my wife until I was 39, at which point I had a kid and retired. This game was strange.
The KiZi logo only appears in the top of the screen from sector 2 on, or if you hit pause, and then hit pause again instead of "back." There's a bug that prevents it from disappearing like it should.
The weapon system is buggy. Upgrade costs fluctuate for no reason, and I tried to buy a new weapon and didn't get anything. The weapon upgrade system wasn't well explained, either. It looks like you upgrade to lvl 5, then unequip, and then click the "mod" you want to upgrade to, then upgrade. Upgrade the new weapon to 10 and repeat.
Boss 1 is a huge difficulty spike, but you can get laser long before Boss 2, and at that point the game is basically over until Boss 3, which is another huge difficulty spike. Wingmen are basically shields, their attack is worthless.
Very tight efficiency required in the beginning. Things to know: 1) Don't build walls past lvl 1. You will lose the left one, don't repair it. 2) Don't buy any more builders. 3) Build 1 archer per day, upgrading towers first, then castle. 4) The 13g castle upgrade doesn't give you a better tower. Once your towers are full, just build the top castle and walls for fun (you don't need them to win).
The building purchase process is also bugged. For example, purchasing a quarry caused my wood to go into the negative, even though it had no wood cost. Purchasing an academy caused my stone to go far into the negative, even though I had the resources to afford it.
Thanks, i updated the instructions
