Honestly if you fixed the memory/lag issues with this game it could easily become one of the top 5% of games on this site. But as it stands the lag is terrible and it makes the game take 3x longer than it should, not to mention you are constantly hopeing you do not fall off an edge instead of jumping, or that you actually jump over an enemy instead of getting stuck fighting them and losing a good chunk of your HP. I can not play this game to the finish, I can only do it for the 100 items (and even that still took me a good hour and a half only because of the lag).
If you get rid of the lag the game is fun, balanced, and just the right amount of difficult. Please fix this game, or come out with a sequel that doesn't have bugs.
There are two things about this game that I do not like. 1) When you level up, if you are spamming A to attack at max speed you can accidentally level up a skill that you don't want to level up. An easy fix to this is to had the mouse be the button you use to level up with. 2) The final boss is 10x harder than all the other bosses in the game combined. I agree that the final boss should be harder than everything else but personally I dislike games where the final boss feels like it should be a boss in a completely different game because its so much different from everything else. That being said this game is a solid 4/5
If you want some reference on how to get the Swaintastic Badge without a walk-through the amount of lives I used to do each level are:
lv1-1|0 lv1-2|0 lv1-3|1 lv1-4|1
lv2-1|0 lv2-2|1 lv2-3|0 lv2-4|0
lv3-1|0 lv3-2|0 lv3-3|1 lv3-4|0
lv4-1|0 lv4-2|0 lv4-3|0 lv4-4|0
lv5-1|0 lv5-2|1 lv5-3|0 lv5-4|0
Paradise Meadows|0
NOTE: This may not be the only way to do it, its just the way I did it.
Be aware that if you do these AFTER you complete Paradise Meadows you have to do Paradise Meadows without dying again.
I hated literally everything about this game. Pointless chat that you just skip through. Pointless items that you never use. Pointless score at the end of each mission that doesn't matter at all. A leveling system that doesn't work. Glitched spots (im looking at you 3 - 4 ) where you can get stuck in a death/revive/thrown animation. Terrible and I mean TERRIBLE controls. Auto latching onto walls when you are trying to fall. More crystals in the game than you can buy power ups with. Bosses that take less than 5 seconds to farm for inf cash making shop prices pointless. Randomness of Hard/Easy levels throughout the entire game, making it seem like your not actually making progress. Not going through levels in order, once again making it seem like your just doing random levels. Final Boss that tries (and fails really really hard) to add everything you've used in the game when you can simply move left and right and then spam bomb the boss.
This game is pretty fun. Getting all the starts isn't really that hard, but getting the stars, doing the level fast to get the combo up higher, and optimizing your routes to get the best combo . . . that made me have to think.
I am not sure if this is intentional or not but there are multiple levels where you can skip paths through rooms, if not the entire tile itself. Level 20 for example has 3 different routes, 2 of which skip a path through a corner room and 1 of which skips an entire tile all together. If this is intentional please consider adding a timer so players who find different routes can see which one is faster, having a speed running element in a platform game is never a bad thing. If this is not intentional then you may want to take a look at a few of your levels.
The way I was able to do these levels by skipping things: Hold (W) and press space. This mechanic can be abused even if you are NOT at the top of a tile. This allows you to block fire obstacles that are directly above you without having to drop something into their paths (assuming of course that the fire obstacle is shooting horizontal and not vertical.
Yup, both the multiple paths and W+Spacebar mechanics are intentional and should be exploited. We definitely have considered adding a speed trial mode to the game, we just haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for the feedback!
This game would be cool if it wasn't Pay to Win. Its nearly impossible to consistently get Uncut Dice without paying for them and there are things in the game that you need large amount of Uncut Dice to do. Basically its locked content that you cant do unless you either get really really reallllllly lucky, you grind forever or you cave and buy it with kreds. Take away the need for Uncut Dice or make them available for purchase via gold and that would fix the ONLY problem with this game. Unfortunately its such a big problem that it ruins the game for me.
There are a few things that just make this game much harder than it needs to be. 1) the zoom is way to close to the rocket, once you reach a certain speed its too hard to actually aim for things and its more of just getting lucky and not crashing. 2) about half the time you go through a booster you are flung into something and take a bunch of damage as well as slow down a bunch. 3) although its the least of the issues the speed dial covers up the booster dial/fuel dial if it gets too high, and thats kind of a problem when trying to decide if you want to go for extra cash, more fuel, or try your luck with a booster.
Its too short and too easy, it gets to the point where your using your Mage and Archer for damage and your priest to heal them when they get hit. The King and Knight are barley ever even touched.
