you probably should use a different color for the border of the water, it blends into the background and frequently makes it difficult to tell where some pools of water end.
oh god why.. why did you add terrible, terrible voices. why is this badged. just..a continual stream of WHY-ness is being inspired by this monstrosity.
Thanks for reporting! I have seen this as well but I was not yet able to reproduce it properly yet. I already created a planet full of shields in my development environment, but I was not yet able to find out what causes this. More investigation is needed, but I'm definitely trying to fix this at the moment.
also, perhaps implementing a scroll bar of sorts to make dragging the map around quicker *particularly so when you custom campaign and decide to have a REALLY huge map.*
This is a another good idea, I cannot promise that I'll be able to add this because it might interfere with the "click" vs. "drag" movement detection on the map screen, but I'll have to try this out to be sure.
a pause option not relying on a loaded weapon'd be nice. either that or I just forgot it EITHER WAY. fun game though. sometimes it feels like the battles drag on a little bit, even if you outclass the enemy planet but, well, *shrugs* it still works more or less.
Thanks for playing and making suggestions! I will add an option to pause on keypress in a future update as mentioned in a previous game. I know that sometimes the battles can be a bit long, depending on the equipment of the two fighting planets. I'm not sure how to fix this yet. If I would make it so that the enemy AI looks at your weapons and buys weapons according to your equipment, this might result in the battles becoming boring because the AI will fight you with the same "countermeasures" as long as you don't change your own equipment. If anyone has an idea for this, please comment or PM me!
perhaps a way to purchase hints about evolutions you've unlocked? I.E. I want to stop getting blue second evolution, so I buy the info which shows up... somewhere, and go "ah, it evolves to that under these circumstances let me not do those."
I dunno, I GET the idea behind forcing us to actually know or look up things to progress in this type of game, but it's not really difficult to do that, annoying if nothing else. it is in fact, EASY to do, but just adds an aggravating extra step.
I'm getting a weird glitch where zooming on the scope is causing it to just sort of bounce back and forth repeatedly between zoom levels.... and occasionally turn upside down apparently.
you.. you MUST be kidding. stop. just stop. freaking stop trying to shovel out all this endless pile of garbage, and certainly don't call yourself "awesome" games 8 and try to confuse people by assuming that your sheer amounts of failure was only attached to the word "the" in your previous title. Also, don't freaking re-release a game that already exists, but with a frigging FLASHLIGHT "mechanic" I put mechanic in quotes because this barely works in the slightest, and it is otherwise LITERALLY, THE SAME. DAMN. GAME. I desire strongly to have ratings that go below 1. 1 does not articulate how awful this is, and how awful you are as people for pushing this out and then having however many proxy accounts rate it up so it gets on front page. I wish terrible things upon you.
a problem that I've noticed way too many games have is this: there is a tendency for animations for really basic things that are unskippable, whyyyy do I have to watch the 5 100% stars become one crystal very slowly, WHY do I have to see magic orbs do the same LONG thing I have already watched like, five other magic orbs do, why do I have to watch this ship slowly travel around the map after I have already seen it literally a dozen times, and then take time to load up the button for the level. Any game that makes you roll your eyes and go "yeah yeah come on already, just get this over with" is a game that has done something wrong. Otherwise it's alright, there's no incentive to spend crystals on the higher tier items in craft, or to upgrade with them, and there's no reason to ever want to spend those crystals EXCEPT for when you're sort of stuck on a level.
still pretty grindy, and the upgrades to speed things are barely noticeable, and given how grindy and expensive upgrades are, nigh unnoticeable is NOT good.
hoooly crap what were you thinking with your utterly massive sizing of the game. Like, i'll even not go "ah, another mining idle." because I'm strangely drawn to wastes of time that... somehow require me to waste my time elsewhere. I am BAFFLED by why you thought making that so large was a good idea.
you know with all the chaos that life can bring, it's good to know that I can rely on at least one thing, TheGames8 will always churn out consistently awful and poorly designed, coded, and clearly poorly tested, games.
I seem to be having display issues, I don't see any of the buttons or.. anything at all really, other than current money and a gauge of some kind, I CAN play, sorta, but.. not really.
Try reloading, when I push new graphics their position on the sprite atlas changes, and your browser may have cached a previous version of the atlas. Reloading should fix it (I use cache busting based on game version).
look, if your native language isn't english, and you're going to put out a game in english, maybe get a native english speaker to work on the various places in which you use words. preferably one who is well spoken/written.
Thank you for the suggestion! Definitely an idea we'll experiment with.
