It's a damn miracle, a The Games 8 game in which I didn't IMMEDIATELY get repulsed by all the glaring flaws. Congratulations. really. That is the highest praise I never imagined I'd be able to give to a games 8 game. the praise of not wanting to slap the creator with a newspaper and shout BAD. NO." and rub their nose in it to let them know what they did wrong. A game that is only an awful clone of previous games which were already awful clones of a much better game, rather than a game that makes me want to drink to forget.
Kiritsukeru, thanks for the compliment. You're making us blush :$
Do not worry about the sombrero, we don't have one either. We don't even wear hats... just Luchas' Masks
problem 3) you have a capturing mechanic that is already pretty luck-based to do without grinding *get exact dice rolls? or GRIND FOREVER for money to improve an object that you have to continually spend money on to use?* and then adding a new mechanic part way through the game to make it pointlessly harder? why? why would you do that? what purpose does it serve? problem 4) minor mechanical problem, but it takes forever for the dice to get back to rolling sometimes, especially when they double. problem 5) the chests. ugh why the chests. what does it even matter if there are 2 or 8 chests if I can only ever open one? even if I can EVENTUALLY open more *and I'm more or less expecting that if you have that system in place you're going to make it cost money* it's the same as just rolling loot, with only the illusion of choice. I suppose you might also have a system in place to let you see the loot in the chests before opening, but again I'm expecting you are going to make that cost money.
As for the dice rolling, there is absolutely a fair chance of getting any number, and depending on the dice you use, the risk may either be higher or lower. You can check out this page for more information: http://tinydicedungeon.wikia.com/wiki/Strategy . As you continue playing the game, you can destroy chests using gold and leave at least two remaining chests to choose from. There is no uncut dice being used in that case. Hope that helps in answering your questions. Do let us know if there is any feedback and suggestions. Thank you very much! - Haruki
problem 1) having so many different features of a game rely entirely on paying money? no. bad. A feature? maybe. or just better equipment/items fine, understandable, but I haven't even unlocked everything yet and I count at least 4 different features that cost money. 2) maybe you have weighted the dice a bit *heh* so that 1's don't show up that often, which is good! because otherwise your baseline likelihood of missing an attack with your initial two dice, is 33%. add a third die that can cause missing and it goes to half. consider the health of a large number of mobs and that is BAD. Again I FEEL like you've weighted it, but perhaps a system to be put in place *and not for money, damnit* to help weight the dice further would be wise.... Entirely possible that you've done this and I haven't unlocked it, YES, but I guess I'll just say it anyway.
Hello Kiritsukeru, thank for playing TDD and we are glad to address some of your concerns. TDD does not force you to actually pay for the game. Paying money is just to speed up the progress and gain advantage over certain element of the game. Items can be found while you are playing the game, monsters drop them, not necessarily always coming from the chests. Regarding the energy system, as the game is ported over from the mobile version, we are working out on ways that we can make it more suitable for the web version. You will also be able to capture monsters of the similar strength as those stronger monsters while progressing through the game, except for those labeled as EX.
I'm not entirely sure how to enter the mode where capture dice matter? or is that something you add to when you actually successfully roll the right number, thus making capturing monsters even MORE of a crapshoot?
c'mon, seriously, enough is enough. you don't actually makes games that are worthwhile, so stop finding ways to get them to poison peoples screens with their presence. Just stop.
you need to implement a few things to speed certain aspects of the game up. extract/sell all for energy orbs/gems. considering the need for ore for upgrades, perhaps just a button for converting gems to the appropriate number of ore based on price, seeing as you'd probably just convert it to ore ANYWAYS.
also why on earth do skill levels take forever to generate after you retire, you're starting at 0 again, shouldn't they be earned pretty reasonably quickly, like, say, the same rate as you got them the first time?
Reload your web page until the game says 2.1.5.5 in the version. Your Vet Rank should be saved, and it will use my new version that fixed this problem.
the only thing I can think of suggesting at this moment, is add some manner of examining things on the ground/stairs, so we can just choose not to pick things up and sort them out, or figure out which stairs are new *in case we lost track* if it IS in the game, then it's not obvious.
should be fixed
