@AdamVIII if you look where you picked up the key, three of the yellow blocks have fallen off. Use your initiative to decide where those three blocks would go.
The badge is super easy if you go into the left lanes (where there's oncoming traffic) and jump from car to car there. Drive onto the median strip when you see cars approaching and leap over when you can. Your profits will be huge, you'll get bonuses for slams, takedowns, and reverses as well as just distance without really having to do anything at all. Makes it even easier than pinguin's suggestion.
I'm a level 32 shadowrunner/merchant/ranger, completed every quest and finished the Heartstone, but I can't find the boss. There's no one in the lower right square of the upper right section, nor in any other empty square on the map as far as I can tell. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.
If the badge isn't being awarded, you can report a missing achievement- the link to do so is at the bottom of the achievements panel on the sidebar. Hopefully they fix the badges soon.
Some of these tasks are really poorly designed and revolve more around luck than skill. In particular, the Q and X task- if there are only 18 or so possible words, it doesn't matter how good you are, you just have to keep refreshing until you get it (which is frustrating and not at all fun.)
This is one of those games I come back to every few months just to replay. It more than earned its spot in my favourites. Captured my imagination when I was 12 and even now, six years later, there's still something about it... Wish I could play it again for the first time.
@lilly1990 It's not an essay. The purpose of a game isn't to back up the opinion with statistics. Games are good at provoking an emotional reaction and getting the player to think. You're looking for the wrong thing for this medium. @Terastas The point is that people ignore good news in real life. You can't control what real people tune into in real life, and neither can you to the characters in the game. The only way to win is not to play. The game is showing how damaging the attitude of these characters, who only look at the negative, really is.
After half an hour of hard work, you finally put the last piece in place. You smile. You've done it. You're finally free. You wait with bated breath for the level to finish... and it doesn't. A little confused, you check your bridge. There don't seem to be any gaps or holes. Your confusion turns to horror as you realise what the issue is. THE PATH YOU BUILT THE BRIDGE ON DOES NOT REACH THE END. You built your bridge in the wrong place. You'll have to take it all apart and start over. You can hear your ears start ringing. In the distance, someone screams. You sit there, the world slowly fading, staring up at the ceiling, waiting for someone to help you. Waiting for someone to tell you where it all went wrong. But no one comes. In resignation, you slowly drag your cursor to the "restart" button...
It's interesting reading the comments here- it looks like people either find the hard badge incredibly easy or incredibly difficult, and there's no middle ground. I guess that makes sense for a quick game like this where you don't progress to get the badge- you either can do it or you can't.
Yes. Both right and left click dig up the square, instead of right click marking it and left click digging. I'm using chrome, a mouse and keyboard. I'm also experiencing the same issue as FuzzieFuzz with click and hold.
The rightclick/leftclick would be the most intuitive for me, but when I try to use it the right click acts like a left click and blows up the mine anyway. Using the hold/click control scheme doesn't work as well as it should either- regardless of whether I hold or click, it always gets flagged, and then gets digged when I click a second time.
I do wish activating the scream in midair would make you scream as soon as you hit the ground. Lots of times I've jumped into a group of enemies intending to kill them all quickly with the scream and instead the monster just stands there waiting to get killed.
Working on fixing this now. Should be fixed soon.
