Weak game. BTW, what is the deal with locking out the magnets as time goes by? As jaymon pointed out, there are few enough matches as it is. Locking them is just irritating, not challenging. Needs a lot of rework.
As an additional note, the higher difficulty levels are actually easier. Since the map is larger, there is much more time to kill the only two dangerous units, planes and missile trucks.
Not bad idea, but it could use more variety. The effectiveness of combined arms adds a lot to RTS-type games. In this game, I don't see much point in building anything but tanks. The helicopters are ripped to shreds by the AAA trucks so they seem fairly pointless. I ended up just building 9 tanks at the start of every round and then using missiles to take out the planes and artillery to take out the missile trucks. I did this until I got bored and gave up. The lack of any real strategy or tactics led to boredom fairly quickly. I got to the low 30s before I quit.
The shadow art style is a clever idea. The units look good.
Nicely done. I like the puzzles and the darkly humorous style.
Please focus on those strengths when you make the sequel rather than adding unnecessary complexity.
Fun game. It would be nice if the view was zoomed out a bit, though. The enemy designs are pretty cool, but I spend most of the time shooting them from off-screen so I miss seeing most of them.
