nice idea and game, but it needs some rebalancing and bugfixing. The m1 bug is annoying but well.. just dont advance with it :( More annoying are the performance of jeeps and tanks - they rarely shot, so they aint really the damagedealers - the good aiming soldier with a bar is.
Airstrike and Artillery warning textes should stay longer on screen (or arti should become louder when shooting) because it can be quite annoying when you miss it :/ Also Pause should in fact pause ALL stuff - the artillery, supply drops and some soldiers (shooting) don't get stopped! And 2 "lives" for a bunker (undamaged + damaged) would be nice, as well as a small "cover quality" shield sign thingy at the soldiers to see if they are covered atm or not.
Also make promotions for vehicles useful - a "officer"-tank still sucks kinda badly in combat.

Cute yet wonderful graphics, great choice of music - wel,l too bad that this version doesn't have upgrades and such. Thus it would be 3+1/5.
Concerning the fwg exclusive version - much better, more interesting, but HORRIBLE choice of music.. please, why? :( (would be 5-1/5).
But the combination of both games (music of 1, gameplay of 2) is perfect.
4/5 + 1 for version 2.
quite fun, though I wonder why it took me 10 minutes to get the second boss, while all others took like 4-5 mins.. I like the creative powerups, e.g. 1942 and pacman - like said below. But somehow it feels a little bit long - I've been playing it 30 minutes now and somehow get tired of it (and I'm still alive), because - apart from the fun powerups - it's boring :/

Hm, concerning lvl 8 - this strategy seems to work quit well:
Day 1: Start of with 2 gas power plants and 3 labs and upgrade the gas plants to lvl 2; Also get a mine quite early. Build some turrets and Lights when the night begins. Don't forget a garbage truck.
(2): Get geothermal plants (you'll run out of nat. gas) and upgrade them - get some more mines, farms and towers/lights (lights especially near edge of the map, towers near buildings). Oh, btw - clean the mess with electric trucks or you might get a problem
(3): Up and Atom! Though you don't really need more energy
(4): Nat gas supplies - reactivate the plants, get some more and enjoy spamming
The Zombie AI seems to target nuclear waste first, then tower defenses, then they start thinking about attacking normal buildings - so in case you get overrun, a well placed spotlight might help you by distracting them.

The only problem I had was that the game became nearly uncontrolable due to lag in lvl 8 :/ And you can have negative energy (which causes problems with the display). Repairing also give me quite a headache - shouldn't stop if you are out of energy (or remember the repairorder).
Maybe a scenarioeditor would be also nice.
Hm, in my opinion this looks like the best game of the series.. but it still serious deficiencies.. the biggest of all: It just doesn't really make fun.. and after the zombie-leap-pipe-slaughter-level my hand hurts and I had even less fun. I think you should really improve the gameplay itself, not just adding a fancy light here and there.
It's a well made game - concerning graphics e.g.... but it just doesn't make fun. It's just annoying that another game of the series gained badges, otherwise I wouldn't touch it again.

hmm.. spamming with archers is quite sucessful :/ The single battles feel kinda long, thus the gameplay could be a better. I like the music though
3 feels too little, 4 too much.. met another guy with the same problem, so you got 3.5 twice^^
