I really want to play this game through, but nothing I do will allow it to save my progress. I turned off all ad blockers, set three different browsers to accept ALL cookies, and it still doesn't work. I finish the first board and go to the menu and immediately all I have are three New Game slots.

While it was fun for a few rounds, I just can't see myself playing for long. I can't even say for sure that it ever gets challenging because it never did before I got bored with its simplicity.

Farily standard game of this genre. Fun, but the 3 star requirement was ridiculous on some boards. I even looked at the walkthrough on just the second board and CAN'T click the hammers down fast enough to clear the path in time to allow the bguy to not have to stop. The game physically won't allow me to click on it as quick as the walkthrough player did.

The bad control system really became a burden on some of the levels that were purposely made to require pinpoint control. Enough so that it wasn't worth bothering after a few tries.

I may not have the fastest computer in the wolrd, but it is not slow either, and this game lags every time a bug is killed. Not to mentiion...it is 2012. I think we have all played tower defense games by now. A waay to turn off the tutorial pop ups would be nice. Why force someone to use a super weapon early on just to get rid of the dumb window telling you to use it?

Maybe it is just me, but I don'tgetthe appeal. All I got out of this game was that I couldn't see anything, and every few seconds I had to wait and X or Enter out of some silly narrative that I couldn't possibly care less about.

I never understood the appeal of games whose ENTIRE difficulty comes from a crappy control scheme. I would much rather have a harder AI but with controls that are even halfway decent.

Is it just that my computer isn't fast enough (it isn't that slow) or why does the game pause for about half a second when you kill a zombie? Gets pretty unplayable when there are a lot of zombies dying in a row.

For the love of God, PLEASE allow a player to auto-skip the anoying messages before every battle. At the very least, if you are trying a battle for the second time, the message does not need to come up. Or make Click be skip rather than forward. It is annoying to have to move your mouse to the teeny tiny SKIP box and then have to quickly get it back into position to aim.

Thegame could be good, but has a lot of flaws. First of all, it could be better explained that some weapons are not actually weapons but rather upgrades. That way I would have lost all my energy with the multi-laser that I had to pay to repair. If you are going to make something an upgrade, just make it an upgrade. What good is the multi-laser if you need to ALSO pay for a second slot to use it, evne though I have no use for the single laser anyore. That annoyed me enough to not bother repairing my ship.

Sorry for double comment but perhaps a way to speed up earning potential would be to give money for assists as well. (After all...you are contributing just as much to your team if you assist on a goal.) And maybe have your sponsor double all goal/assist bonuses. Or other bonus money possibilities, like $1 for reaching 100% boss. Or maybe just $1 for every achievement. Or even once in awhile throw us some free sports drinks for good play (like 2 points in a game), or even a pair of shoes or a free skill upgrade, etc. I just think when a free online flash game takes 40+ minutes to get interesting, most people will never get to that point since they see flash game as quick time wasters.

It just takes TOO LOOOOONNNNG to buy things when you are getting $1-3 a game in the beginning. Don't think it will hold my interest until where I can make more.

Good enough game but I would liketo see this as a modern game instead of a Game BOy style. Kind of a waste

Developer response from TomRubicon

For me it was not a waste, as I wanted to make something that looked like the games I loved as a kid. I knew full well that doing so would put it in a niche. Thanks for playing.

too slooooooooow. Flash games are supposed to be quick time wasters. Not ones that take 10 minutes before anything exciting happens. By then, most players ahve moved ontp the next game.

Good idea for a game, but a bit too easy. Even most expert levels were either pretty simply to figure out or just took a little playing around until the solution because much more obvious. I started on normal difficulty and didn't even realize I was on Expert until I had already completed 7 boards.

Another thing I noticed that is a bit unfair...I lose a ity due to luck since I had an 11 point advantage in size, a whopping 21 point advantage in Attack and only a 1 point deficit in Defense...that is fine. I lost. However...it is ridiculous that when I restock my zombie army, the city has the same population! How come when you win a close battle, you lose most of your army, but when you lose it, you gain nothing. I wouldn't even mind of some cities had SO many people to start with that it is impossible to win on the first try. But that you had to keep chipping away with expendable zombies until you get the population down enough to win.

To add to my comment...Perhaps a way to downsize your company's upgrades, or lay some staff off to decrease revenues to get through a rough patch of bad luck events would at least give players a chance. And after all, everyone has seen over the last 4 years that companies are not afraid of downsizing.

It is a nice game but too many "bad luck" events compared to good luck events happen. Three days in a row of losing half my zombies RIGHT after I maxxed my army size (and before I could attack) followed by a 2 day ban on sales and there is no way to stay in the black. And I wish I could say that only happened once but it didn't.

It is a nice enough concept but it takes WAYYYY too many repetitive training sessions to advnace. I can't imagine anyone wanting to train 3 ducks several times each in each level. The previous one where you could train in all disciplines at any time was better. I think flash game deveopers needs to realize that these are time wasters, as in, you play when you have 10-15 minutes to spare...not 10-15 hours.
