lost all my guys after having a full battalion, wave 40, and the screen went to pause grid, but no options were avaialbe to get back to the load menu or main menu, had to reload the page.
well, yes, it was. It only actually fired when fully leveled up, and would do maybe five shots before a zombie touched it and I had to go hack it back up again.... but it was a cool idea.
ABout the black screen: we tryd to find it but we found nothing, all of our testers report no black screen, in order for us to fix it please provide us more information: ON what dificulty were you playng ? How many soldiers did you had? if posibil how far in game were you (wave ? )? on what did you presd to apear that black screen ? I sure hope its not a troll attack :(
I don't get all the demo hate. There are plenty of games that are honestly demo's that dont get this treatment. (Creeper world comes to mind off the bat). Personally, in the future, make a story plot that ends, minor plot, call the "demo" the first game, and sell the rest of the game as a sequel or two. Especially if you say that when sales reach a certain amount, you'll put the next section up for free for everyone else, I think you would do well.
I think this is one of the better td games out there. I would love to see a downloadable full campaign version, one in which you progress through a storyline, accrue some type of currency and purchase incremental upgrades, maybe a td rpg on this format?
I second the statement of, it is awesome that you went from top to front view, changed some gameplay, and still made a game that felt the same. I would love a version that combines the two.
Personally, I think that bonuses from equipment should A. be shown on your stat screen, perhaps in () so that you know what your modified stats are, and B. count towards using other equipment.
i killed a dragon before on one computer, than played after badges were added on another computer, and going back to the computer I killed a dragon on, it is NOT giving me the badge. No biggee, i just need to kill another dragon, but should be looked at.
for those stating that the dragon is auto death, with less than top armor and sword, plus potion, I killed one, got another potion, and then at half health (plus potion), killed another. Its not undoable.
To the dev, proof of concept WIN. I would love to see this as an RPG, with upgradable stats, maybe a slower progression of weapon and armor upgrades. I see a map with different paths that you take on taking quests, different hot spots that activate learning, gold, xp, side quests, besides the equipment upgrades, and a full story. (And, I am an author, if you're looking for a story, I'd be happy to write one for this game. )
I like it! Agreed, i'd like a little more story, and some more of the primary characters interaction, i mean, he's gotta have figured out that he's being used by the end of week 2, and just how badly, and that there IS genetic research going on elsewhere. Sigh. Also, multiple zombie slots, as others said. You could make it a research item, you have to research to open up other cages. (ooo, furniture. chair, spiked chair, dog crate, ect. which one you put the zombie in effects the change from objects!)
Level three was a pain, but I got it eventually. I kinda dislike that you ONLY get more armies for regions. I like the armies for totally number of territories, PLUS bonus for regions. Otherwise its too much risk between keeping your own territories for armys, and stopping your opponent. You should be able to disrupt your opponent's region bonuses by marching through a continent, and still get SOME armies yourself.
the tactical game DOES give resources, including the replayable fields, on some missions! in addition, the mystery dungeon gives resources. What to spend gold on? lots of potions so i can stay in the mystery dungeon collecting artifacts and resources longer!
this would be really interesting to see with a growth/upgrade setting. sharper claws, slowing your decent, a double jump that recharges, ability to see larger areas of the screen, a higher jump, an estimation ability that puts a band showing where your jump might land you that gets more accurate with time.
