This is an interesting concept, but you should really develop it more before posting it. Because I like Pink Floyd (nice capture from The Wall, btw), My Rating: 2/5
Dear God, make it disappear! Annoying music, obnoxious sound effects, boring gameplay, and it's not even a strategy game! Because the scale doesn't go any lower, My Rating: 1/5
The graphics and sound are ok, but having a reversed up & down axis makes for terrible gameplay, especially since going up & down doesn't affect your aim at all. It's distracting and takes away from what is otherwise a decent challenge. My Rating: 2/5
This game, while admirable in its concept, is rather disappointing in its execution. First of all, the playing field has an "extreme close-up" feel which is not only disorienting, but makes the game visually boring. Secondly, the game is far too prone to locking up, a tendency which makes completing even the first battle a lesson in frustration. My Rating: 3/5
I would have given it 2/5, but since this is a shoter game, not a strategy or defense game, it gets a -1 penalty. My Rating: 1/5. Please update the game to be placed in the Shooter category.
I actually like the fact that the field is large and the pace is not as frantic as other snake games I've seen. I would like to see a restart button, and some background music wouldn't hurt, either. My Rating: 4/5
I'm a bit baffled why you would have a basic tower (arrow) that's incapable of killing any level of creep on its own. Also, this version seems to have a bug in the money function. I sold off two arrow towers at $3 each, but my money counter remained at zero. Sadly, I must give this promising game My Rating: 2/5
The A.I. of the vehicles & troops seems to be EXTREMELY sluggish when it comes to deciding on a target. Seriously, any real soldier who took that much time to pull a trigger would wash out of basic training. It could be good, but for now, My Rating: 2/5.
It looks like you've barely started it. No sound, no BGM, no menu, not even the ability to lay down more than one turret on the screen. It could be decent if you actually gave it the barest amount of effort, but what you've got here is worthless. My Rating: 1/5, because the scale coesn't go any lower.
Complex and challenging, with decent sprites and sound f/x. The minimap does take some getting used to, as does the scroll function. The one sticking point for is how, in the vastness of space, a missile is able to track an asteroid tens of thousands of miles away, yet isn't sophisticated enough to avoid friendly vessels. Also, I was looking for an upgrade feature for the various turrets, but couldn't find one. Oversight or deliberate planning? Anyways, for now, My Rating: 3/5, with hope for future improvements.
Come on, a bomb whistle for the shots of ground-based AA batteries? Retool the sound effects and you'll have earned a "3", but right now, My Rating: 2/5.
Too many keys involved for 2 people to play comfortably. If you could program a mouse option for one player or another, it would go a long way to improving playability. As it is, My Rating: 1/5
It's a really good concept, the graphics are ok, the BGM and sound f/x are nice. The game breaks down in one critical aspect of gameplay, namely that a group of units fails to attack as a group. I can understand this to some degree with ground units, but the air units should at least be able to move above/under/through one another and always have a firing solution. If you can't or won't fix the positioning A.I. for a group of units, at least build in formation selction so that you can lock in how you want a group to approach a target. Do this, and I'll 5/5 it. Right now, My Rating: 4/5
Somebody doing something approaching "original" with Shootorial, FINALLY! Nice graphics, good machanics, non-annoying BGM. The only complaint I have is that it's too short! Seriously add more levels, maybe an item shop to purchase permanent upgrades, and you've got another star from me. My Rating: 3/5
