No save problems here. What this game needs is a HIGHER MANA LIMIT. What's the point of getting all the good cards if you can't use all the most expensive ones in the same battle?
It's a fair attempt at replicating Diner Dash, with one major problem - if you make a mistake, such as taking a loaf out of the oven too early, you can't pitch it, you can't put it back in the oven, and you can't put it on display for someone to buy later on. My Rating: 3/5
Not exactly a strategy or defense game. Please re-file it under Puzzle or Music/More. Also, you might want to fix the pixel ration between the simlies on the field and the To-Find smily - the ones on the field are vertically stretched, detracting from the game's visual appeal.
To reward players who collect all the cards, the mana limit should somehow be raised to 6,200. This figure allows the player to use any 12 of the 32 cards (s)he's collected, without running into that STUPID "Mana Exceed Limit" message.
There's nothing strategic or defensive about this game. Please file it in sports or action, where it belongs. Despite the mislabeling, it was fairly enjoyable, with a good challenge curve. 3/5
This is just re-hased whack-a-mole, with one twist thrown in. The generators are too close together, and the gremlins move too quickly for hits to be deliberately made on a regular basis. 2/5
Yet another critque point - the limit placed on how high your character can level up, AND the corresponding limit to available mana is ridiculous. There are few things more frustrating to someone who's gone to the trouble of collecting all these cards than not to be able to use the most powerful ones at the same time. There are 2 ways I can think of to fix this: 1) raise the level limit to say, level 50 or 2) make it so that as you level up spells, they cost less mana.
Also, to pwner756: ALL the Epic War Games allow your opponent to do this. It's affectionately titled a "revenge wave" by fans of the series. Overcoming it is one of the challenges of the game.
I'm a bit disappointed - you add this whole new set of mechanics with an Instructions section seems to pick up AFTER the actual instructions. I mean, you're not directing Michael Douglas in "The Game," you know. Get some actual instructions that explain on detail how the new game mechanics work, please.
It's refreshing to somebody actually TRYING to use the shootorial to make a good game. I'm so tired of variations of the shootorial's sample game, I could puke. Does it need refinement? Yes. Does it show creativity and promise? Again, yes. Did I enjoy it at all? Again, I say, "Yes." My Rating: 3/5 Suggestions: more firepower power-ups, perhaps a store system that would allow you to buy upgrades in terms of shot power, firing speed, and manuverability. Keep up the good work!
This game bugs me on so many levels, it's hard to express. First, there's the stupidity of not allowing your ships to target a specific place or ship. Then, there's the fact that the computer doesn't have to play by the same rule as you (not limited by income, research planets available, or the lack of targeting options). These glaring flaws turn a potentially enjoyable game into a fermented lemon with mold. My Rating: 1/5
