I would have given this game 2/5, but insulting the player regardless of his score, in addition to the crap graphics (why do people still use MS Paint for these projects?) tell me that the developer really doesn't care. My Rating: 1/5
The sounds and graphics are both above average to very good. What I have a real problem with is the fact that despite the dogfight look of the game, you're not allowed to circle around to chase down bogeys that escaped your first pass. This, in addition to the inconvenience of non-custom controls (who really presses the space bar with their pinky finger?) degrades a potentially enjoyable game. Change the controls to WASD and allow for the player giving chase to various waves, and you've got a winner. The way it is? My Rating: 2/5
Tower upgrade information continues to be inaccurate. If anything, this version is even more disappointing than the last. Please either figure out how to display accurate info, or give up the ship on this project. My Rating: 2/5
And what important educational lesson did we learn form this, boy and girls? We leaned that ViolentAJ makes some of the crappiest, most annoying games in existence. If only he didn't have so many contenders for the title "King of Crap"...
1/5
The lack of a cursor/cross-hairs when you're playing make the game somewhat frustrating, given that you can inadvertently click outside the game field and suddenly not be in control of your character. 2/5 until this is fixed.
Not bad, although I find it curious that you put the path layer above the layer for tower range. Sound FX, or at least some nice background music is a must. For now, My Rating: 2/5
Too convoluted - all these rules about how you can only charge one tower per trip, only two towers can shoot at the same creep at once, it's too much. What purpose does all this serve for the gamer? And please, don't say challenge, there much simpler ways of challenging a player than making the rules overly complicated. Combine this with the low-end graphics and you get - (cue fanfare) My Rating: 1/5, with a strong recommendation that you streamline it somehow.
Seriously, you think changing the sprites and adding a bonus feature can indemnify you from prosecution under copyright law? I don't think so. I do like the bonus feature, however, so I'll be a little kind to this game. My Rating: 2/5
It's well-conceived, well-coded, and entertaining. There's only one major problem that I can see - THE SERVERS ARE ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!! Seriously, who out there thinks it's a good idea to be TOO CHEAP to use equipment that can keep a dialup user connected? I haven't been able to actually get into a battle all day because of this. And that's after 11 tries, 10 reloads of the page, and a walk around the block to keep from punching out my computer. Pry open the wallet and buy some decent equipment, Scrooge.
Talk about minimal thought and effort. TVgames, I can understand if you're just learning flash and this is your first game ever, but you should really spend more time working on developing the concept of a game before you post it here. Even if you were able to code THIS game with slick graphics, believable sound effects, and appropriately ominous/tense background music, it would still be a 10-second game with WAY too high of a boredom factor. My Rating: 1/5 - - -
Back to the storyboard...
FINALLY! Someone finally gets the concept of "easy". Sure, there's nothing resembling an original game concept, poor graphics, and no sound whatsoever, but when you have a TD where you can go level after level without losing lives, just by building and upgrading a single tower, it's a breakthrough. No, it's an object lesson from which all others should learn. 2/5 and added to Favorites.
It's better than the first, some bugs HAVE been worked out, obviously. One sticking point is that the upgrade data charts for the different towers is not at all truthful past a certain point. If you de-select a tower for upgrades, and then click on it again, it reverts to some default chart with the same statistics over, and over again. It's only when you manage to collect enough for the ACTUAL upgrade cost that the game displays the correct tower data. Once this is fixed, it might be a likable game. For now, the problems are keeping it out of my favorites. 2.5/5, keep trying.
The perspective of the hammer is odd and troublesome. There's no shadow, the angle is incredibly shallow, there's nothing to indicate depth of field, which makes it very difficult to know where your aiming. Also, it would help if the developer could learn proper English and redo the instructions. 2/5, keep trying.
