One of the better shootorial games I've seen. The backdrop and BGM really do a lot to elevate on otherwise generic sub-genre. Now, if only there were some way to make the ship a little smaller and a little more responsive...but, that's what updates are for. My Rating: 3/5 - an impressive achievement in a lackluster field.
Nice graphics and theme, but I think the object you're given control of is too bulky to make for an enjoyable dodge game. Now, if you added some more proactive defense elements like say...poison decoys, various types of spiders for sentries, praying mantis guards, magnifying glasses as sniper towers that set the ants on fire, glue traps, THEN you'd have a decent defense game. As is, My Rating: 2/5
Level 4.1 does seem unbeatable, given that one tough wave of creeps moves too fast for any tower to get in more than 2 shots AND the fact that they spawn head-to-tail AND the fact that the one element they're vulnerable against is one of the slower-firing towers in the game. 3/5, with hope for improvements to come.
There's a scene break that mends when it's about one-fifth of the way down the screne. Ideally, this should be mended before it comes into visual range. Also, aren't bright green shells an odd choice for a program that's otherwise drawn in gray scale? As is, My Rating: 1/5, although it shows some promise.
This one is actually a downshift in quality from the previous 123Peppy food games. The music is intrusive and too monotonous, the setting is poorly thought-out (how would you pour dressing underwater?), and the graphics take away from the simplicity found in the game's predecessors. My Rating: 2/5
All I get is this rotating loop: Logo screen, title screen, non-functional Select Units screen, Game Over Screen, repeat. 1/5 until there's an actual game.
I like all the improvements, although having a difficulty setting would help the game's appeal factor. It would really be nice to have a Sandbox mode to try out the various weapons and what they do at various upgrade levels. Also, when upgrading a power or range tower, it would be nice to see an improvement in the bonus it gives, either in addition to the greater range or in lieu of it. Great work, 4/5!
God help me, but that's some annoying crap. Avoid at all costs. Note to self: look into liability laws to see if the developer can be forced to pay US kredits for being subjected to this stinking pile of merde. My Rating: 1/5, due to the fact that the scale doesn't go any lower.
Didn't the earlier version HAVE autofire? Bring it back, please, and try to put some weapon upgrades in there. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . My Rating: 1/5. YOu can do better than this
Good graphics and a surprisingly challenging set of physics, decent sound effects, but there are a couple things holding it back. First, the game really could use an autofire feature. Second, there's a bug - when you steer hard into the right-hand border of the map, you can't break free of that border. I couldn't at least. MY Rating: 3/5, with potential for 4/5.
Good sprites, well-executed mechanics, and nice scenery. All-in-all, it's a good start. Now for what's missing: sound fx, bgm, upgrades, a way to cancel buying a tower, a sell feature, finished details & stats for the towers, and some explanation for that red bar over the towers. Currently, My Rating: 3/5, with an eagerness to see what will come.
