Now that I've finished as much as I'm going to right now. Geez; this game is just plain dull, boring. No fun factor to it. Premise don't hold for long and the action is...meh
(2/2):
The moves panel in the shop...does nothing. They are just showy.
The statue upgrade; causes statues to spawn with some loot or some ammo. It's not really worth it outside of survival; but it's not nothing.
When facing the Engineer and Dark Zoul at once (in the Arena). Kill the Engineer before HURTING Dark Zoul. (Dark Zoul's combos get harder after each hit and that AND the bombs are very difficult.)
In Endless Hunter; you continue until you die, you may miss any number of enemies with no penalty. Use this to your advantage.
For survival; note that kills give you Souloons too and your combo bonus causes kills to give even more Souloons. However, put Upgrades (flower to Soulette) and keeping your vest in top shape at the top of your priorities (no use in getting a big bonus and/or a lot of treasure if you just die).
It's better to waste ammo (throw something and miss) than it is to end up taking a hit and losing your armor or dying (especially in Survival).
Here are some tips (1/2)
The impossible badge specifically requires: all challenges done; including each of the endless challenges to 10000 points. All levels done perfect (no hits) with all the stars (3 challenge stars; 3 from releasing the old men) [you can make multiple runs; challenges, perfect and releasing old men don't need to be in the same run for the 100%]; all Arena challenges finished and Survival until 4000m and 50000 Souloons
Buy prospect first in the shop.
When you unlock the Challenges; go ahead and do most of them. They give more Souloons than the main game so you can upgrade in a hurry.
You don't really need anything for 1-2. For 3 you need Agility (all); Dexterity and Ammunition (Marksmenship); the Broken Doubloon and armor upgrade (Hunting); and Gliding (Acrobatics).
Advice on the hard badge? Turn off the auto attack; focus on stunning snails and overcharge it. (I mean, intentionally don't attack UNLESS if you don't attack an enemy will get an attack next turn; this allows you to build up extra HP and attack so you can one hit the masses later.) Personally I did the guantlet with 2 Nuke-Fu Daisies and Ramethyst in the back row and Long John Rabbiteer, Commander Firebug and Esther Bun in the front row. I like having a full variety of colors in the battle because it lets every single click add charge to something.
When I won the game (hard badge); my guys all had Light Armour, Tactical Gloves and Light Boots (no Helmet or Pack). Three had assault rifles and one had a sniper rifle. All carried one extra ammo and 3 grenades; except mr. sniper which had two extra ammo and 2 grenades.
My general advice: If you focus on getting your AP high and using defensive positioning (enemy weapons are as (in)accurate as yours); you can just kill most threats by walking into range and shooting them enough without them getting much chance to attack you.
In other words; don't invest in defensive items for this game; because in this case, the best defense is a good offense.
I've never understood these kinds of games and now that I actually play guitar, I can say this. This is significantly harder than actually playing the song. The buttons and patterns have little to no relation to the beat... It's just a confusing mess really. And no, in real music, though the attacks after to be close no one holds you to a fraction of a second like this thing.
