Getting to 100 speed is easy. Took a couple of hours of trying and a good run, though. The cables and the speed max upgrades are all you need. The acheve didn't flag. Several more launches over the course of the week. I stand at 3,908 distance, and syill no speed achev. No, I log in today, and it has lost my progress. I had even spent koins to get around a bug with the pinata videos not playing. Overall, most disappointing. At this point, I have to drop my rating down to a 1 star. I'd give you a half, if I could. Most of it works well, but some key glaring no fun times ahead.
I'm having a hard time understanding the loss mechanic. It seems to be point based, but there is no indication of that target number. Is it he synergy thing? Do I HAVE to synergise to win?
OK, I'm sorry to say it this way, but the sniper mission is plain stupid. Your camera randomly jumps around the battlefield like a hiccuping chicken. I'll be bringing my jittery, slow-moving sights inline to make a double kill and it just jumps to the other side of the map. If you don't want to give us camera control for some reason, then just make it a nice, steady pan from side to side. As it stands, I don't even want to finish the story, and I'm a story guy.
That progress loss every 3rd day, or so, is killing the game for me. Serious pisser. Also, I don't think the armadillo things should be immune to powers. The latter point is just my opinion, but what's the point of having the powers if they're useless?
Is the spawning through barriers glitch responsible for the sudden loss glitch? Are those splitters popping out off the map and just running around the edge of the maze to the end?
Serious suckage when you have to use a continue nuke and it keeps firing off missiles AFTER you continue. Nothing to do, but watch the alarms go off. OK, ok, they were already in the base, but come on. Is this a game mechanic vs reality thing, or just an oversight?
Way grindy, even for a launch game. Add in the frustrations of the constant insta-stops and you have a very low score. The pets have potential, but I'd only want a few out of the many.
Adding to what I posted earlier: The tutorial pop-ups for new tower levels are unclear. It can be hard to tell what exactly they do and, sometimes, what they apply to.
The lack of pathing markers/roads is OK, but it would be nice to see where possible paths are. It's annoying to not have any hints.
I feel this could be a good game, but it's a pay-to-win. That alone loses a star from me.
ATM, 2/5 stars.
So, do you just get the bugs on the screen to the exit, or did box 16 just glitch on me? I got 1 of 2 bugs into the exit, and it completed on me. No chance to go back to the other rooms for the 2nd bug. Good game, overall, but level 14 ( I think. With the sugar getting knocked over.) seems absolutely ridiculous, right now. Maybe I'm just no seeing it, but getting 2 out before the columns tumble seems undo-able.
Seems like a nice builder MMO, but I cant get very far due to lag. I've let it sit for 5 min or more to load up a new building. And the slowness just keeps getting steadily worse, like a memory leak. Like I said, seems nice, but totally unplayable, right now. Truthfully, the Android version isn't that much better.
