Good all around, but whenever a new card popped up I lost control of the map. I had to switch the camera button off-on to get it back. W/o the space-pause AND no way to turn the arrows the way I wanted, there were a few unnecessary losses. EXTREMELY annoying. Still 4/5.
Cant say I like this. I fully upgraded my pistol, and yet, I cant reload/shoot fast enough to actually complete the 3rd(?) job in time, despite sinking every bullet into the targets. If this is a real indication of the game, I don't see any fun in the future.
So, apparently I shouldn't have played the 1st bug hunt, and bought nearly everything, right after the 1st level. Now I cant mod any weapons. The UI says they've been bought at the terminal, but Inventory won't let me equip them.
Solid overall, but I'm not a fan of the constant moving. Perhaps if they moved more fluidly, instead of dropping off the cursor every time I move too fast. Still, I would definitely enjoy it more w/buttons and/or hotkeys. Like something to send a turret staight to the cellar, would help.
Why do I play these dang timing games? Do I enjoy repeated frustration? Am I truly that much of a masochist? Are challenges really that important to me?
This game could use a fun achievement system. Maybe something that unlocks "super" upgrades, like max magnet pulls in the fuel (at least slowly). Maybe being on fire could make blasts bigger, or make fuel explode.
