The dialogue trails off some times. Like they are going to say something... and then they don't. Plus, the jumping is WAY too persnickity. If you're too close, you cant jump even 1/4th as high. Other times you get a kind of double jump.
Simple. Clean interface. A few syntax errors. Really easy. I didn't try the all bombard until after I had beaten the game, but I see why others have commented on it. You can also use all Agents. All Gunners doesn't quite work easily, but it's doable. I only lost 1 ruby, once, using a balanced approach. Mystery Game #2 still eludes me. Unfortunately, w/current balancing, I see no replay value. 3/5
So, I consider myself pretty good at strategy, but I'm just not catching the trick. I see comments about 1k+ people and all these large numbers for the jobs and pop limits, but I have trouble getting 100 by the time the game is over. I mean, if our ancestors had to deal with 3 Ice Ages back-to-back, I don't think they'd have made it, either. 1 annoying thing, too, is when the numbers start jumping clumps around.
Out of fuel.. again ... and again ... 2 cans in a row! Yay, I made it to Earth! Snap a few pics ... BLAH!!!! Falling again!!!!! stupid space rock.... (I made it home safely, the 2nd time. No boosters, either.)
#1 issue is the ghosting. The randomness makes winning a lot of luck. An example of how I would balance a bit: Level 7 has a "Dragon" that ghosts and takes 5 lives, followed by 2 big ghosts. Drop the last wave of 2 big ghosts and that level is fairly easily doable. 1 other BIG thing would be a sensor of some sort. It could lay a no ghost area, it could be a shooter tower that takes away stealth, or it could be a trap/upgrade. The mobs are a little tough, and the on-map upgrades are a little lackluster, but that's just a "tune-to-taste" issue. Some way of lowering the threat of ghosts, and this could be a 5/5 easily.
Decent enough little tale, but this game takes the most annoying part of these games, (the hunting for the exact right pixel to click, and THEN the right order for those pixels) and elevates them to a whole new level of annoyance with MOVING click points.
So well done (5/5, and I'm a hard 5) that the only criticisms I could say are the little nit-picks that so common in these games. Things like difficulty clicking what you want and/or giving the right click command since so many things are dependant on the same click. I agree that the pet should have it's own respawn. He's too cute to stay away.
