Literally all of the difficulty in this game lies in the controls. More specifically the movement acceleration in the air. It's so touchy that holding left/right in air for .1 seconds longer than a tap will cause you to miss platforms 2 squares wide. The game has amazing level design and has some very intricate timing but the jump movement acceleration takes a LOT of getting used to. Frankly I was more annoyed about my guy hitting warp speed in the air than dieing because of it.
It would be nice if it was clear what path the enemy waves will take. Most TD's have the enemy take the shortest path to the exit, but in this game sometimes they will loop around stuff for no reason. Knowing ahead of time where they will loop around is critical in the early waves of any hard level. Inevitably you will have to take a loss just to learn where they will walk. That makes this already slower than molasses game even slower. This game was probably good in it's time but nowadays it feels more akin to and "idle" game. Also brief descriptions of what units do when you "specialize" them would be nice.
When you get pretty far into endless for that hard badge the disasters get really rough! A major drift every 10 seconds is pretty difficult to counter for long. I ended up just going for broke and ignored my other buildings as I just tried to meet the requirements of the last nexus I needed. I had 4 cities, 6 nexus and no resource buildings but I got the badge.
Game barely operates on Chrome. I'm averaging about 3-5 fps. If you really want the badge just shoot mostly horizontal and click in bursts of 8. I couldn't actually see anything but I can hear that I hit corn more often closer to the ground. I made it to 70k this way.
You get the badge in about 12 seconds so I can't really complain about the game being boring since it was interesting for the 12 seconds I did play it.
Good god the prices of the upgrades are terrible in this game. You will probably only be able to get about 3 upgrades in the first 25 minutes. If you really want to avoid wasting time then just grind out the rocket boosters. For some retarded reason the final rocket upgrade is so significantly better than any other upgrade that I TRIPLED the amount of points I got. No other upgrade will do this. It also lets you fly up real high to get more time doing handstands.
The game is REALLY boring until you get that upgrade. Then it gets boring AGAIN soon after when you realize that you need to grind 180k points to get the gold cart that unlocks the glider.
Oh and THE BADGES ARE BROKEN! No word from the developer or Kongregate unless you look at the most recent comments from march...
Not really anything original here. It's just a helicopter flying game(I can't remember what class of game that is) with most of the art taken from flappy bird. I will give that this game is hard with the moving obstacles.
The game's description claims it is a "mind-bendingly over the top scrolling shooter!" Yet one of the game's tags is IDLE. I think that should be sufficient to REALLY describe how mind bending this game is. Personally I was bending my mind around a rock as I furiously beat my face to a bloody pulp waiting for this game to give me enough currency to buy upgrades. It is pathetic that if you just walk away and check the mail you get marginally fewer "blops" to spend on upgrades than if you actually play this "game."
Ehhh.....I've always hated energy timers. It is a simple mechanic that says "the only way to continue playing this game is STOP playing this game." I can tolerate energy timers if the cooldown is REALLY short or you have a high max energy. This game does a little of both but then screws you with a related mechanic. The CD's are only 2 minutes and your max energy is 30(you can increase this by leveling). Wow is what I said. I thought this will be awesome to play one of these games for longer than 5 minutes. Then you run into their counter to all that good: Increasing energy requirements. Within about 8 minutes of STARTING to play this game you will hit quests already requiring 6-9 freakin energy. That means you login, hit attack 3-4 times and then you logout. If you increase you max energy so you can attack more, you aren't able to increase your attack power to finish quests with fewer attacks. This is not a game, it is a glorified cooldown timer that wants your money real bad.
Good gravy this game is bad. The sound quality is poor and the music is the same obnoxious 12 second clip eternally. This is a simple launcher game that is so poorly optimized it lags to about 5 frames per second. (I can max crysis with extra texture mods but my comp can't play this? Yeah right...) Additionally there are MANY spelling and grammatical errors such as the instructions: "Mosue only."
The only thing this game does well is being complete garbage. This would be a choice game to bet one of your friends 10 bucks to try to beat it. You win every time because the game lags out of control on the 3rd level. Please don't waste your time on this broken "game."
I got some presents in the mail and I clicked take. The game then alerts me with "tooken successfully!"(no i did not misspell that either) What the hell is "tooken" and how can I be unsuccessful in receiving a gift?
I liked this game quite a bit. Honestly the stagnant population is what kills most attempts at beating this game. You press new game and all births across the planet stop happening. If all the other country's population would increase normally it would nullify the fact that, when you attack a city, you don't convert their entire population into zombies.
