A bit odd. Kinda pretentious, but also interesting because I couldn't identify with or understand the actions of the MC. Once I realized that Hans is a sociopath it made sense why I couldn't identify with him at any point.
Kind of an odd ball. It's too grindy to be an active upgrades based game, yet requires too much attention to be an idle game. An example of this is an upgrade to how many items you can sell at one time. An idle game would just have a button that sells everything(or even an upgrade that sells all your items automatically). Conversely an active upgrades game wouldn't give you enough items to make you REALLY want a sell all button(and even then some of those games do include that button). There are many more design choices like this, but this is just the simplest to describe.
Fun game, but I keep getting freezes towards the beginning of levels. Maybe it doesn't like all the enemy movements? Idk but currently it's unplayable. Truly a shame.
If you are having trouble getting the last claw upgrade or keycard, you can take advantage of your invincibility after death to pass through one of the shock walls. You have to do it quick, but you do have enough time to get into a hover as well.
Honestly this game should have badges. It's a solid platformer with a lot of charm. There are many games that are objectively worse than this game that have badges, but maybe I'm missing out on some context. I know the rating isn't like the 4.1 or whatever it needs, but it wouldn't shock me to hear that it was that high in the past(I mean it was made in 2011).
The angle is just awful. Many rage inducing moments as the ball nicks a wall that I wasn't trying to even be near. This wouldn't be a problem if you could replay a hole while maintaining your score, but you can't(to be fair that would probably make the game too easy).
The bubbles of text that you can't get rid of just bother me so much that I can't focus on the game. Seems like it is my kind of game, but the text bubbles just bother the crap out of me. If you could get rid of them or make the ones that point to quest locations just an arrow or something that would be excellent. Seeing a moving text bubble that takes up like half the screen to mark a quest location is just ridiculous though.
This game is a dumpster fire. Every facet of it is pay to win. There is no strategy, simply just dump sh*t and auto win if your cards are stronger. If your cards are weaker(thus you WILL lose) you will know it on turn 1. The game plays itself and it is slow. To get the easy badge you basically just watch a movie for 15 minutes while clicking through all sh*t tier dialogue. I've played idle games that have more to do than this.
A good game for its time. It didn't age well, but if you like nostalgia then this game has a some. Just look through the comments for the specifics on the hard badge since it is REALLY unintuitive for a couple of the favors. That and this would probably take a long time to figure out on your own. I'm not saying that it would take a long time because you couldn't figure it out, rather that the walking animation takes so damn long. There's no fast forward so exploring on your own is a chore.
I honestly wish this game didn't have the hard badge. Took a lot of fun out of the game to try getting it. I mean, I got it, but it wasn't satisfying at all. I just got a lucky run with 3 yellow boosts on day 1. The multipliers from duration and height gave me enough to get e-rocket maxed. The fact that restarting requires a full page refresh and sitting through that armor games ad 40 damn times just left me with a sour memory of this game.
This is an extremely basic game. Your guy carries a shield yet can't defend. This makes archers particularly irritating. One of the bosses bicycle kicks you to death via stun lock(LIU KANG WINS). This would be a good game if it had upgrades. The whole game is just a chore. The best part of the game is a bug that lets enemies attack after you have literally depacatated them.
This game simply requires time. Lots of time. Most of said time you are doing nothing. You hold left, press the up key twice, then level out the cart and wait. Sure you can do tricks to earn money faster, but 1 mistake will cost you about 16k to get your groupies back. If you can get a good trick combo on your next run then you might make that 16k back. Probably not though. Honestly this just feels like a sh*t tier idle game that wants you to press more buttons than an idle game should.
Honestly the game is pretty sh*t, but it is from 2007. If you play more modern launch games(like burrito bison and whatnot) you can see just how much the genre has evolved. This game has the added bonus of making you endure game features that are legitimately bad(you don't keep your upgrades lol). Whether you make these games or simply want to recommend an improvement to a new launch game, this particular game will give you better insight into that. Aside from viewing this game like a fossil, it has no value.
(2/2)Most of the game is just waiting for your character to travel. This becomes especially obnoxious when you need to grind quest items. Enemies spawn all around the map so you are always walking somewhere. The drop rate for quest items obscenely low, you get to experience the effect of this in the very beginning of the game. 1 quest asks for 8 beetle shells, then another asks for 20 more beetle shells. 30 minutes of farming gave me 10 shells. You will miss many of your attacks. It feels like enemies(at the beginning of the game) have a dodge rate of about 20%, but you don't(I was seriously having some TES: Morrowind flashbacks). You have to go all the way back to town to save your game. There are more tedious things(believe it or not), but my point is: does that seem like something you want to deal with for the next 5 hours? The game is pretty long so if some of these things irk you A LOT, then you will be really salty playing this game.
(1/2)There are too many problems with this game to consider it anything other than bad. Everything in the game just screams tedious and unnecessary. You regen health....extremely slowly. It seems like 5% health/30sec. You have a pet. Sometimes it just runs in circles trying to get to an enemy. Your pets health does not regen at all. Your inventory is restrictively small, even when carrying only the most basic necessities. Loot dropped from enemies that you don't/can't pick up cannot be walked on, instead you must walk around it. You must do ALL combat with the mouse, yet you must use the keyboard to move your character? The controls just feel clunky. Overall the animation speed is REALLY SLOW.
Really needs an upgrade to reduce obstacles. There's just so many on earth that you never get that satisfaction of blowing right through earth like it's nothing(even after you get the best upgrades). A random helicopter or speed booster will ruin your run just as much as when you first start. Just makes the game feel tedious instead of satisfying. I gave it a 5/5, but that is just because I love the rest of the game.
This one is kinda an odd ball of the reincarny series. The effects and graphics are much better, but the game suffered significantly for it. It's so short and (somewhat) unintuitive that it doesn't feel like a game. It feels more like a proof of concept or a tech demo.
