I just saw this was released over 3 years ago. I wish there was some achievement for not killing a single zombie as I just did this, no falling off cliffs or touching a single gun.
Good start, but geez this game is far too micromanaging to fully get into. Shortly into the game, all we are doing is clicking on random things. I must have clicked over 20,000 times for all of the building upgrades, hero upgrades and individual battle start, continue buttons and the two different messages at the end of each level. Only to get to level 101.
There is a bug when you go through the "How to Play" and double-click on either Military or Economy where the screen goes blank and you have to either reload the page or right-click on the game, and select "Play" from the dropdown menu.
It would be great if there were some way to turn off the "Purchase" upgrades on the lower tiered items. Perhaps some visual indicator, letting the user know when an item is considered a "low" tier too (such as, the Max Buy button will deplete all interns), so they don't accidentally waste a bunch of interns on something that has 0 impact.
This idle game is really good with new ideas and amazing concepts. There are some aspects that make it extremely micro-managing as others have pointed out. This game is headed in the right direction, but at the moment, its micro-managing makes this a really difficult game to get sucked into and play. 4/5
It's very strange how the bosses are FAR easier than the actual level. I had to have replayed the last level at least 5 times. Each time the level lasted about 1-2 minutes. I beat it with about 1/2 of my upgrades unlocked, get to the final boss and beat it in about 10 seconds.
This game is just riddled with issues. 1.) The developer doesn't appear to be listening to the people making suggestions. 2.) Like everyone has said, that stupid sheriff character is really annoying. 3.) The numbers showing the amount of the cash we receive through clicking, our friends jumping, and collecting cash on the ground is REALLY hard to see. 4.) Some things are not explained as to why some upgrade is unlocked even though we could purchase it. For instance, I make it to the end with fully maxed characters and have maxed my cash at $10,000,000,000 but the "Victory" button is still disabled. Turns out I had to upgrade all of my vehicles...but I had to wait for all of them to be destroyed before I could upgrade to the next vehicle AND before I could click on the Victory button to win.
I know this is an old game, but yeesh there are so many issues. No save button, lack of commas, huge + abnormal gap between factory and government, factory and railway upgrades are switched, some of the "upgrades" aren't upgrades and are not explained well either, clicking becomes useless about 30 seconds into the game, all upgrades for the earlier collectors are useless and way overpriced.
Neat concept, but three things bother me: 1.) Platforming + digging + defense. Separately is fine, all at once is just awful. 2.) The logos being inside the play area. 3.) Clicking for ever shot. Nearly all defense games with mass enemies have an auto-fire option.
This game had potential, but all of these issues are just massive let downs to me.
@Maxor, what you said was right; but, so was daexion when he/she said the same thing. You tried correcting someone by reiterating what they just said. "Max Level" and "Buy Max" essentially mean the same thing in this game, and Daexion only used 600 as an example instead of some random, uneven number. I didn't rate you down, and you only have -3 so it isn't all that bad or even anything to worry about.
Something is far off with the rainbow ball's gold payout function. Early on at around the level 200s and less, the payout is pretty great where it seems to give you what you would expect to get in about 5+ minutes of grinding. Later on, it doesn't pay out well. This even includes using the maxed gold rush ability during a boss level. As I end up receiving the amount of gold I could expect to get in about 10-15 seconds without any upgrades used.
Protips (prior to version 1.0) final part: At around the coordination of 512, you should leave a good amount of trimps "unemployed" so they can help produce other trimps. When you unlock the hotel and resort, you should leave a LOT "enemployed" as well, because they help to regenerate trimps very quickly. You'll find that you're making MUCH more resources by battling in the maps and world than having them as workers. Additionally, don't feel obligated to use coordination as much, because if you're doing this right, your trimps will be extremely powerful from all of the map upgrades and do not need to double to in size just to stay ahead like you were forced to do before maps were introduced.
Protips (prior to version 1.0) part 2: In continuation between switching between maps and the world. You need the upgrades from the maps to make your trimps really strong and to get sweet upgrades to your housing. BUT, you also need to switch to the world regularly too because your maps have a limited amount of upgrades they can give, and the world unlocks higher level maps (meaning upgrades you can unlock when running those maps). Ignore the fact that you're given 5-6 maps at each level, you can only get 2 (3 if it's a 5th level) upgrades per level, in fact you can run the same map multiple times getting all of your upgrades, so getting multiple maps per level is pointless. You can obviously run the maps as many times as you want without getting upgrades, but if you want to progress fast in this, you need to switch between maps and the world regularly. Recycling maps is only good for getting rid of the clutter, there is no other benefit.
Protips (prior to version 1.0) part 1: Do NOT invest in trainers or gyms. You can do a little investment early on, but shortly after being introduced, they do nothing for you. At some point (maybe world 10???) you will find that to move forward you need to do a lot of switching between maps and the world. Maps are NOT random when they give you upgrades, and recycling does not mean you'll get an upgrade with the new map. Every LEVEL of maps give you about 2 upgrades MAX, with every 5th level giving an additional upgrade for your hotels. This means, if you are lucky to find the really quick maps with about 20 tiles, repeat this map a second time and then recycle every map at that level. You can (if you want to) run through the highest level map you have available multiple times as it will grab the upgrades from the lower levels until it reaches the cap at its own level.
Which ones did you use?
