Not bad, but nothing really special either. Has a very polished look to it, but seems like just another shootorial game dressed up a bit. One annoying aspect is having to keep pressing 'J' to fire, make it able to just hold the fire key. If you want to limit such a thing, the 'overheats and becomes unavailable after held for x amount of time' always works, but continually pressing it is just un-fun. Keep at it. 3/5
OK, I think you just developed the first quasi-entertaining way of learning Morse code. Now all that needs to be done is have a badge made worth 100 points for getting through the entire alphabet and you will have educated tens of thousands of individuals with a new way to communicate in chat...
Well it's not that bad, but for such a simple design and graphics, there should be little to no lag, even with the amount of objects that come on screen. Try a different method to accomplish the desired result. Also you REALLY needs a pause button.
Unique concept, so a definite +1 for that, and although it was made rather well and is slightly challenging, there seems to be that missing x factor that would make me want to play it over and over to do better. Maybe if it moved faster? Overall very nice work. 4/5
Not bad, but not my particular taste. Very nice artwork. Reminds me a lot of Fatal Hearts. Adding more choices and mini-games would help anything in this genre a lot.
L4m3ness: Try changing your upgrade path, and you should be able to pass 28 on hard without a problem. I have always gone with the minigun and save up a lot on money before wave 28 (to get the 10-15% interest each level). You should be able to have around $1,000,000 by then without having trouble on the earlier levels by not spending all your money. Don't forget to spend some of that increasing your max hp before the bullets.
I played through again on normal, and the end screen appears now, but the number submitted is 41 after completing the 40th wave. Not sure if this is supposed to be as before 39 was submitted. You have something against the number 40?
Nice game, simple and fun. I don't know if I beat it on easy or what though. On wave 40 I think I killed the octagon thing (had like 200+ hp and it was just about dead), then POOF! instant game over screen at wave 40 (only recored 39 in the high score). So I don't know if I killed it and there is no 'You Won!' screen or if that boss thing has like a 1-hit kill attack that got me or something....
Another great game krispykrem, but like the Bureau of Steam Engineering lacked the initial instructions that caused many to shy away. Glad to see Rubix aided in that with this release. Very elegant work, but towards the end when my brain turned to Jello, it started to feel like I was working on a college project again... I Eagerly await your next next release. Absolutely brilliant work.
OK, normally I like all these games, nice, simple, kills a bit of time, but with the color combinations and hideous patterns, this one just seemed to hurt my eyes and make it rather unenjoyable. Granted it made it a bit tricky, but the user experience should not be sacrificed in the process. Still good work.
