very cool. seems sometimes I dont get to draw a card when I should? would be nice to have a campaign and/or kong achievements. instead of random starter decks, might be good to have a few pre-built 1 or 2 energy starter decks so we can get familiar with cards quickly since there are quite a few factions. love the ships/explosions comment.
yeah, don't like the speed up thing makes the game harder? ugh. finished lvl 13, bored. dont know why there are different lvls, they aren't really different.
cute graphics. plays well. could use a manual or help screen though - no real info on upgrades and what the hell is the summon thing? fun diversion, but can be a grinder.
good first effort. plays through, no bugs, not too long. ffwd needed and more variety of towers and enemies as mentioned. having different towers only attack certain enemies is fine. what I did find odd (not quite a bug) was that all towers of a type shot only at same time. I realize each group has a different fire rae, but they should fire as enemy approaches, and then the later ones in line wouldn't be on the same cadence. something off on the programming there. the bad news is that even if you spruce this up a bit, it adds nothing to the genre.
cheap strategy - put snipers near the building along the bottom row, but make sure they can see/fire into 1 alley. put barricades there and good supply line. then when clock ticks down and zombies spawn, at least one gets caught there. forever. so you go about the rest of the map with no more countdowns. may run out eventually, but works for quite some time.
also, I think hitting caps lock speeds game up 5x or something. couldn't turn back off though. odd.
it frickin erased my data halfway through. like the game, but it's way memory intensive. needs the option of turning off the animation before even entering battle mode. needs better mouse over on unit stats as well. might need some kind of difficulty level where it caps the # of units you can have. otherwise you just replay a level or two and spam units to win blindly.
be slow in the beginning, buy extra shield to help. get 300 crystals, buy first premium gun, then own everything. getting buy everything achievement is grinding, but not horrible.
good overall for sure. it's extremely similar to Desktop TD (the best TD ever), which is good and bad. what I like about this version is the sell tower increase thing and reverse flow goblins, so people who only survive by juggling are screwed. I also like how the squirt/rapid tower doesn't get the extreme range bonus like it does in DTD, which brings it back to close to normal. however, it's still overpowered and to beat any map, just upgrade those to max quickly. removing flying creeps puts more focus on maze. I agree graphics could be larger.
nicely done but I just cant make myself care. the walking around is just tedious and the battles are really not much different than first game. well programmed, nice artwork, etc, just wish you would have made a different game entirely.
annoyed. completed campaign on easy and medium before badges. now wont give me badge. hard level is retarded. computer brings out some "kill every damn thing you have" card on 2nd turn. not even remotely worth it.
