good effort, but unbalanced. the basic gun is good, once upgraded to lvl 3 and 4. the first upgrade is not much and thus misleading. but becomes overpowered upon further upgrades. the emp-electro combo is only useful when both fully maxed. otherwise either alone is simply way to expensive and useless. thus basic idea is 1 basic gun, max upgrade, bank, then add gun and upgrade slowly until you get enough cash to buy and max elec-emp (on normal, this was around lvl 29). fairly straightforward and boring. the bigger problem is both the lag and memory leak. lag in-game is bad enough, but leaking out messing up my other stuff is annoying. also, with the elec-emp combo on, takes forever to kill everything. another potential glitch - "send" button is nice, but when bank is in play, the seconds forwarded with the "send" don't seem to count towards the bank interest. so to get full effect of the bank, you have to sit there bored. speed up option is nice, needs 300-400% though.

poison dominates, though helps to have a few tanks to pick off weakened enemies. next wave button is nice, but would also like a speed up button. could play this at 2x or 3x easily. great first effort - decent graphics, nice menu stuff, plays easily enough. however, adds nothing to genre and needs work. found most towers to be useless.

well done. my machine has slight lag with this though. like the graphics, settings, options, etc. a bit repetitive though and my mouse finger hurts, ha.

love the idea, ease of play, and variety. don't like the repetition as much and the grinding due to low cash flow. many comments already made I agree with (on how to change). still, great first effort.

things I dont like: 1) the carry over stuff. this does make for nice strategy, but it's also a constant pain. you have to pause and resell, you have to play levels over if you didn't optimize, etc. 2) for all the complexity, the game is far too easy - spam rifleman, then spam MG.

Strategy notes: 1) lives and money carry over. yeah, i missed that in the instructions myself, but thanks to others for pointing it out. this makes a HUGE difference. you can rack up money and lives to help out later. 2) you can pause and sell all unit at end of each round. again, thanks to other posters on this. this is also HUGE. especially when spamming machine guns later. 3) start game with basic rifleman or whatever. after each level, upgrade him. spam him on next level. repeat through level 11. after mile 11, reassign all upgrades to machine gun. spam machine on every level until you win. there is no strategy and you dont need to bother upgrading anything else after MG is maxed. it does help to use the road tool for tanks though. but remember, you need to be prudent on each lvl and to sell back.

ok, ont he good side this is well done on the whole. graphics are good enough, overlay map for placement is good, upgrade points (and reassignable) is a good touch. multiple gunners/towers, enemies and map layouts are all good. the game autosaves and options are there (mute).

played fairly easily all the way til last lvl. can't beat. I just used 1st basic tower, no upgrades or crystals, just spammed them. sometimes the multishot in wrap around areas. but checking the numbers for the upgrades and crystals, something doesn't make sense. I mean, tower goes from 29dam and 8.00shot to 31 and 8.25 for 50? spamming makes more sense on paper, yet others have indicated the increased speed wins out. shouldn't. anyway, still good. thanks for the save, mute, and speed up functions, all too many folks forget to add those.

is there a SAVE? played lots of levels, then had to restart. boo. oh, and definitely needs speed up button. but overall pretty fun. like the unlocking towers part and good graphics.

Very good 1st try. Sure, much like Gemcraft, but it's still cool on it's own. Wish there was a way to see how many skill points you earned at each level, so you'd know which to play again. Also would like a listing of all towers and their stats somewhere.

hmm. fun. got through 1st 4 or 5 levels without realizing there was a way to upgrade skills. then got through lvl 11 without using any ingredients. made it through lvl 14 with only splash attack added. but now stuck on lvl 15. like mushroom revolution, not gem craft.
