good first effort. needs mute separately for effects and music. restart fail. minor thing, but annoying to have to hit the cancel on tower select - ie, if I select one tower, but change my mind, I should be able to click different tower and it switch to that one. add hotkeys. if you go to 40 lvls, you might think about different maps to make it have different skill levels. even if you d all these things though, you will have a good game, but it will be no different that the basic ones that are out there.
glitches: creeps come in from weird angles sometimes; can't place towers in open space sometimes, but can't tell why. oddities: frost tower will only hit creep once - can understand can't stack freeze, but should be able to damage again. overall, adds nothing new to the genre and is far too easy.
Wow, lots of discussion about cost of DPS. Ok, but just because the designer didn't balance them (to your liking), does that make it bad? No. I find it challenging, and not every weapon in every game should be balanced. Sounds like a bunch of whining to me.
Now the game is a little bare bones and doesn't stand out amongst the other TDs, but it is a good effort.
somewhat fun, but 38 rooms? should have split it up into 2 games. give 15-20 rooms for the 1st game, and if that was a success, do a second later. I know, I have the attention span of a 4yr old, but still.
seems ok and challenging, but as others have said, not new. can't figure out if upgrading the towers increases their special abilities as well, or just damage. ie, extra rust or poison, or % for other towers? as for lvl 6, use tech 4 exploding towers. upgrade to lvl 3 asap and have some regualr simple (fully upgraded) towers around and you should finish. trying same strat on lvl 7 but only make it to wave 53 (of 60).
dont like some of the randomness and not sure the odd/even binary logic holds up. could use a lot more instructions and examples as perhaps some of us are using similar words with different definitions. a better help file is needed.
nah. beat through lvl 16 before I even bothered shopping for anything. added some armor, kept weapon. beat game. got half the achievements, don't care about challenges. repetitive. not enough to hold my interest or reply. maybe for badges, but I hope it doesn't get them.
freakin awesome. love the point of course - damn whiners - and even like the method used here. good in game comments 5/5, but yes, I agree with luminous path - could use more zombies :)
fun stuff. like the upgrades and replayability. good badges. agree with silverpenny though - add hotkeys. holy crap, 2 or 3 of the levels was more about mouse speed than strategy. and thanks to Jasperwinkel for pointing out the hold shift for meteor, otherwise I would never have gotten lvl 15 perfect. for all the good, I found most of the upgrades only minorly useful and never used green/dens for anything. I think you can almost complete the entire thing with just the ice towers.
well done. simple enough, but jump sensitivity a bit off for me. like the idea, but played through 9 lvls and already a bit repetitive. may play through rest if it gets badges. loading screen too long/much though.
amusing. the uncontrollable bot thing is not new so I don't know hwy people are freaked out by that. It doesn't seem to have too much replayability though. and the bots coming out upside down are annoying. good effort though.
Actually, it's not that original, plenty of other combine/destroy games out there. Way too many levels. Nicely done, mind you. Would like more instructions on the "logic" and priority order as it doesn't always seem intuitive with all the modifier options.
