good game, right length - more levels = repetition. hints were progressive if you kept failing, but might be good to ask on each level (or replay) if you want another hint. nice graphics.
cute but some levels dont make sense. I'm on one now where the turning motors are crawling on a person, indefinitely and this isn't waking them up. seriously, that's stupid.
I think the earlier post strategy of spam all bomb works best. max possible score, fastest way to complete levels. unfortunately game really bogs down and becomes repetitive after level 25. I now have 40 lvls complete, 37 expert and it's only been sheer determination and boredom that I've bothered with the last 10 experts. will finish if it gets badges.
if you think restarting is bad here, clearly you're not old enough to remember arcade games. try playing a real vertical shooter like 1941 and having to restart and having to pay a quarter to do it! ha. everything handed to you kids on a silver platter and you still want more.
glad you put effort into it, but it just doesn't make it. the other comments are valid: too easy, lack of originality, poor graphics, lack of pause button, lack of speed up button. in addition, annoying glitch where it seems to show stats from last tower placed and not always one selected in field. sorry, just not good.
cute, simple, challenging in some places but not so much as to be annoying. wouldn't pay for more. for anyone wanting longer boards, harder stuff, less checkpoints, just go grab the original nintendo mega man.
like the game overall - achievements to improve stats is nice. likes ht ease of play, simple graphics and variety of creeps and towers. allowing to farm lower levels to get past higher levels is ok (gives a chance to those not as skilled) and may be necessary for this version. however, the problem is the triple tower. it's such a good buy, especially at the last 2 upgrades as to render all other towers completely irrelevant. the damage/$ for that tower is ridiculous. sure, you have to beat a few levels early on without them due to high initial cost, and you have to get some of the achievement bonuses to increase stats, but those are fun things to do anyway. but once you've gotten that out of the way, the rest of the game seems to be - set all bonus to triple, only place triple, repeat. not so much fun now. hope it gets badges though.
hmm, torn on this one. as others mention, easy, vanilla. still, I keep playing it. like the upgrade system, the replayability, the expert status. like the graphics and ease of play. yet still just plain. and holy crap too many levels. may finish if it gets badges.
