once again annoyed by games that reset everything once badges are applied. the game is easy, but I still hate redoing anything just to get a badge. why is it so hard for some programmers but not others?
and the risk / reward is off. if I lose lvl 1 or 2, I lose 5, but if I win, I may only win 1. ugh. and the AI has all the good cards and most aren't even available to buy.
biggest issue is the cost of things. holy crap it takes forever to win enough to buy anything. pillars for 6 coins? really?! pillars should be 0 or 1 and everything else needs to drop 25-50%. it just takes forever to grind this out.
interesting. plays smoothly. seems there are 2 ways to play - fastest time or just getting the biggest, coolest stuff. for fastest time, a decent effort is shown already by Thex and that's doable actually in exactly 30hours farily easily. but the leaderboard has people winning in 20ish hrs, so I'm guessing some traps involved. in either case this time chase basically renders most of the game useless as you never get around to any of those items. chasing achievements would do that though, but Ill wait until it gets badges to bother.
nice first effort. it doesn't stand out though and even the zombie theme has been done. learning curve is steep. I tried a few strats, but ended up with just machine guns towers (the $200 ones), upgraded max each and made it to final level easily. then big boss just pwned me. annoying that you can't see stats of towers until you can afford them (this makes planning harder).
good first effort. many other TDs to choose from though. a few towers have slow, but doesn't stack, seemingly a waste then. plays easily, but could use a speed up button. fairly easy.
cute, fun, short. like the 3 knights. the final boss took some work. child voice was annoying. game a little repetitive, but at least not long. didnt like the XP farming at the beginning. played well, easy to understand. magic was useless. like the upgrade idea.
interesting. like the effort. good graphics, controls, options. I didn't find most of the weapons, equipment or add ons useful though. i like the side quest idea, but they didn't really seem to be too much different than a normal quest (ie, kill everything). tutorial was good and game was not too long. hands did cramp though, and autofire option would be nice. though it has some nice points, it doesnt strike me as replayable.
I don't even know how to win. My soldiers get through and almost nothing happens. It seems you can only do damage though cannon? and so you have to play forever to get $50 and then fire, repeat 10 times? no thanks.
bad enough it wont give badge now, but I complete it the other day and had to redo again. I don't understand why half the games you have to redo once they implement the badge system.
@mmmchips - I simply challenge your statement point blank. at no time did you sell a tower which caused the creeps to change direction? do you have the impossible badge here? for DTD? no.
perhaps you can post screen shots of these great mazes then?
@aero, yes there is quite a bit of logic in the chest puzzles.
agree with the energy reload complaints. I guess on FB it makes sense to give you something else to do, but I came to kong to play a game, not wait.
