It's probobly because I've gotten damn close to beating IWBTG, but I beat the first level in about a minute and a half. It's really predictable level design, and the fact that when you land on something falling you can't do anything about it is just plain asinine. There's no difficulty in the platforming, simply difficulty in memorization. 2 stars at best.
I clicked on it before anyone else did...and waited. It just no popped up, and I kid you not this developer is a genius. The level design rivals miyamoto's original mario bro's, the graphics are that of a playstation 4, and the collision is as accurate as real life. If you don't have the patience to wait for this game, then you don't deserve to play it. 5/5 and fav'ed.
The people who rated this toy low just never gave it a chance. There are a huge number of objects, and all of them can interact with each other. The physics are spot on, I was amazed when I set gravity to -1 and my little dude started floating upward. There are much more objects than just the bottom screen, just experiment with your keyboard. Favorited and 5/5, the best sandbox on kong.
It reminds you of I Wanna Be The Guy because it's mostly an homage of it, the restart button and screen are the same, and both are masochistic. This game is mostly the platform challenge of IWBTG, while IWBTG is mostly figuring out the unfair and out of the box platform puzzles. This game is basically IWBTG without the unfair and masochistic puzzles. All in all, its a great game, and is one of my favorite on Kongregate.
Here's some advice for some of you who say you just can't move fast enough for the higher levels, change the mouse movement speed higher in the options settings.
I don't agree with wurzel at all...the random placement of objects and buildings doesn't break the game...that is the game. This is a game about split second decisions like losing speed to control yourself better.
