It's almost unplayable due to the current ball colour confusion mentioned in my last comment. Once it gets fast enough, the hand-eye takes over and I'm constantly shooting at the wrong colour target.
The on deck ball is much more visible than the current ball, making it very difficult to determine what colour I'm shooting. I'd suggest redesigning the frog to make the current ball much more obvious.
I've figured out the hollows. They work like an empty square, but only for the number indicated. That is, you can place a solid two on a hollow two, but no other piece can be placed there.
This is worth developing further. Although, I wasn't too happy with the invisible blocks that you needed to go through and land on. Perhaps a Keyboad toggle for that? Cycle through the options?
Thanks! I will be if I get enough feedback :D. I'll do an update and see if it gets more attention this time around! Making a toggle would kind of defeat the game's overarching theme, but it definitely would benefit from a more intuitive "show, don't tell" approach ;).
Game is infinitely more playable after last update. Thank you for listening. Couple of bugs/deficiencies. 1) Available time blocks outgrow ability to display them, making it impossible to show how many free blocks I have left. Possible Solution - Once I've used 50 blocks, Shift the entire display 50 units to the left, displaying only the 16 or so I have in excess.
2) The lifetime hearts and money achievements should span over resets (except hard reset).
3) Job Progress bar (promotion meter) is really hard to read.
4) Needs an endgame. Right now, once I've made a girl fall in love with me, the only practical move is to dump her and move on to the next.
Ok Developers, Here's the deal. You're not listening at all to the players. You keep doing updates and "Fixes" but you absolutely refuse to fix the one thing that's going to kill your game: Hobbies take a ridiculous amount of time. At a multiplier of 8ish, it takes to days to get Elle. After that point THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do for at least a week. Nothing at all. At this point there is no gameplay, no optimization, no side games, NOTHING to do. And the solution is simple. Change the Hobby time growth multiplier! That's it. Nothing else. It's really easy: On Load: If (SaveVersion < Current Version) {Figure out how much time spent already, recalculate, save} And Change the SINGLE line of code which is probably "HOBBY_TIME_GROWTH = absurdNumber" to "HOBBY_TIME_GROWTH = lessAbsurdNumber"
Game is Fundamentally broken in the Hobby stream. I've been playing for a month, the designer has acknowledge that the game is fundamentally broken, but they aren't fixing it. Rating 1/5 until they fix it.
Thank you! We will do it... Thanks!
