Not a big fan of letting your current equipment dictate what's available for purchase. Didn't realize until I bought some super fancy rare leather coat that gave almost 1000 hp more than the "standard" stuff, exit the shop and come in, and sure enough normal stuff for cheaper that gave more HP to me, just less bonuses.
Sirwoofy: I think you mean the last 4 recruits are unobtainable.
Just doing the math at what I have, a bit over 5 decillion/s (10^33) the (spoiler) first "unobtainable" is 999 septendillion (10^54), which means at my current rate it would take on the order of 10^23 seconds, which is on the order of about 10000 times older than the Universe. That in itself makes the title of that recruit quite appropriate!
What's the point in showing all those numbers in the legend screen? Is it even feasible to get that high? I'm making upwards of 60 billion a second, even then 10^55 would take 5 x 10^36 years to get to! And that's much artifacts.
Many people were confused because of the money icons, the naming convention I initially chose, etc, we decided to keep it, because, why the heck not? (as for progress, we plan to make it feasible with additional content)
Looks to have promise except for one major issue, it seems to be laggy as all hell. Attack, there's a lag between when the attack hits and showing damage, click on anything in the level up, there's a lag between recognizing I just clicked and showing the result. I'm not playing on a tablet, I'm playing on an actual computer with a graphics card, lots of ram, a good CPU, not sure why it's doing this.
@Guises: Thanks for the info, that was another consideration is how much more game there was. Presumably you have the spell so I'm guessing this is a browser (Firefox) related game freeze
Love the game, but you need to fix that bug with the Mummy queen/whatever where you grab the book the game freezes. At least let us know what spell it is, because I want to continue playing the game but the lack of going back to old levels to get stuff makes me not want to just ignore the book.
Level 11 had all sorts of glitches whenever I bought units later on. Screen froze, and my units went to the exit (minimap did work), only able to get 2 stars on it as a result because they apparently didn't kill more than 70%
as others have said, you really cripple yourself from the start by picking close range weapons. Also what happened to the story? No offense to the creator but that was the main reason why I went through the levels is to see more of the whacky story... then it just stopped.
GD Rogues... why did you have to put in a creature that turns invisible when hit? "Oh hey I have zero problem holding off the creatures right before the exit... but oh wait there's a rogue let me run the hell over there and kill it.
Really fun game, with a little change up to mechanics in this genre of game. However after you've played through 20 levels or so there's really nothing different other than it gets progressively harder (more tedious) and doesn't really offer anything new. Some sort of upgrade system with stars, or what not (other than aesthetic "hats") would make me want to play more. As it stands, there's no carrot dangling out there that is imploring me to play this game any further. 3/5 for effort though.
Awesome TD game, I enjoyed this so much more than ones like Gemcraft which is also a great game. The way you can upgrade your towers, and pick and choose which to bring makes it so nice. Just one thing... those damn glitches... really? They can knock out my towers? BAH!
Only change I might make in Ghost Hacker 3, is perhaps make the monsters upgradeable if you're going to do those in between challenges.
Missiles need to reacquire targets, otherwise they're just slow bullets. Gun fire should continue and hit whatever is after it rather than just disappearing when the original target dies. The last galaxy is way to difficult otherwise.
My strategy, horse horse horse horse, they run faster than everyone, yeah against spears they're not as strong but they'll bunch up and go 2 or 3 to 1 and over power spears, they start hitting the enemy castle then you get more money, repeat. Just don't over level your horses otherwise they cost too much, max out your towers when possible, you don't pay for them anyways.
Ummm.. so I'm fighting the final boss, and after one of those "CHARGE" rounds, s/he fires off a cannon blast, the entire screen turns white, with an exclamation mark in the center... WTF?
I'm lowering the prices next update.
